Optical analysis of pellet car damages
Dubský, Jan ; Šikudová, Elena (advisor) ; Škovierová, Júlia (referee)
During iron processing, pelletizing is one of the necessary steps. Iron ore pellets are burned on pellet burning line, which consists of individual pellet cars. Due to constant temperature changes, pellet cars get damaged. This thesis focuses on an optical analysis of pellet car damages. The al- gorithm presented can find individual ribs of pellet car and perform analysis of their shape, position and look. Such analysis can provide basic information for damage evaluation, same as the material for further research of pellet car damage causes. 1
Experimental Car for Testing of Combustion Engines
Dubský, Jiří ; Beran, Martin (referee) ; Svída, David (advisor)
The goal of this diploma thesis is to design a frame for an experimental vehicle. The primary object is to design a conception and layot of a drive unit. The frame design is followed by a creation of a model for an analysis. The model will serve for torsional stiffness computing using FEM analysis software. After evaluation of results additional chanhges of the design may take place. A vehicle will serve for testing combustion engines of the same conception and thus it is not intended to run on public roads.

Further is focused on cars with hybrid drive and on problems hereof unconventional drive with presentation characteristic feature, advantages and disadvantage.
Influence of isothermal exposure on microstructural changes resulting in delamination of eutectic Al2O3+ZrO2+SiO2 thermal barrier coatings

Eutectic ceramic Al2O3-ZrO2-SiO2 also termed Eucor (as a top coat) and CoNiCrAlY (as a bond coat) coatings were sprayed onto the surface of recently developed fine-grained cast polycrystalline nickel-based superalloy Inconel 713 LC by means of water stabilized plasma (WSP) and atmospheric plasma spraying (APS) techniques, respectively.Specimens were subjected to isothermal oxidation at 1050 °C for 10, 50, 100, 200 and 500 hours in ambient atmosphere, prior to which a half of the as-sprayed specimens was annealed at the temperature of 950 °C for 10 hours.Influence of short-time and long-time isothermal exposure on interactions at the bond-coat/top-coat interface was studied. The uniform and continuous oxide layer, also termed the thermally grown oxide (TGO),was formed and grew at the bond-coat/top-coat interface in all samples, both with and without the heat pre-treatment. Relationship between the dwell time, heat treatment and TGO growth kinetics was quantified.Microstructural changes
International Standards on Auditing
Konětopský, Filip ; Králíček, Vladimír (advisor) ; Dubský, Jaroslav (referee)
The International Standards on Auditing are created and published by the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board. These standards are high quality, modern and approved by regulators throughout the world. Most of the developed countries addopted the ISAs in some way. The International Standards on Auditing have been effective for all audits in the Czech Republic since 2005. Their implementation in the European Union is expected shortly. Standards contribute to better international comparability and enhance the credibility and quality of the audit, including auditor's report. The Clarity project was in progress between 2003 and 2009. It was aimed at clearing standards, increasing clarity and facilitating their interpretation.
Objemový nanokrystalický keramický materiál připravený plazmovým stříkáním
Chráska, Tomáš ; Neufuss, Karel ; Rohan, Pavel ; Dubský, Jiří
Ceramic material based on alumina-zirconia mixture have been successfully plasma sprayed by water stabilized plasma torch (WSP®). The material is composed of three main compounds Al2O3, ZrO2, and SiO2 where the ratio of Al2O3 – ZrO2 compounds is close to the ratio in their respective eutectic alloy. The material is a refractory and exhibits very high hardness, abrasion resistance, and chemical resistance. Cast tiles of the original material were ground and sieved to obtain the right powder cut size for plasma spraying by WSP®. Both thick coatings and free standing parts with very low open porosity were easily achieved by WSP®. The feedstock powder is mostly crystalline whereas the as?sprayed material is mostly amorphous with some unmelted crystalline particles present. Electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction were employed to determine microstructure, crystallinity, and phase content of the bulk samples as well as individual splats.
Plazmové stříkání nanokeramiky - oxidu hlinitého a zirkoničitého
Chráska, Tomáš ; Neufuss, Karel ; Nohava, Jiří ; Dubský, Jiří
A novel material has been plasma sprayed by water stabilized plasma torch (WSP®) in order to achieve nanocrystalline microstructure. The new material is composed of three main compounds, namely corundum (alpha Al2O3), baddeleyite (monoclinic ZrO2), and glassy phase (SiO2). The ratio of Al2O3 – ZrO2 compounds is close to that of their respective eutectic alloy. Both dense coatings and free standing parts were produced with the new material, which sprays very well by WSP®. Spraying parameters were varied and molten particles were monitored in flight. The coatings exhibit very low porosity and high hardness. The as-sprayed material is mostly amorphous with some nanocrystalline grains of aluminum and zirconium oxide present. The microstructure of the newly sprayed material was studied by electron microscopy (SEM, TEM) and was found to be very complex. Upon annealing, the as-sprayed material fully crystallizes at around 950ºC. Selected mechanical properties were measured as well.
