Name: Achievements of our swimmers on the World competitions since 1950 to nowadays. Goal: The goal of my work will be to gather significant results and success of Czech swimmers on the competitions of World, European and Olympics class and to judge a development of success of our swimmers through the time. On the significant performance of swimmers try to show capability of our swimmers to achieve the best results on competitions. Methods: In this thesis is used basic research of data which is important for main part of thesis. Results are stated on bases of strict standarts and they are choosing just from mentioned competitions. Than we use a comparison of data and then we use some basic maths operations to show results. Results: From the choose sources we found data and create a list of presences our swimmers on competitions of MS, ME, OH. Our results show a final position of swimmer in a competition, his time, Fina points and percentage value of his performance to his Pb. Results showing us that counts of our competitors is growing by the time 1950 - 2012. And on a last place we shortly show how swimmers were capable to focus their best physical conditions to the most important competitions. The survey is located on Czech Championship pupils at age 14 in Litomerice. Pupils will be investigated and pupil The methods: The authors used quantitative research in the form of a structured survey. Data were collected through direct measurement (anthropometric data), survey (training indicators) and study material (performance probands). Examined a set of 120 swimmers had happened at the age of 14 years, who qualified for the Championship of the Czech Republic 14 years pupils, 66 boys and 54 girls. The evaluation of the results was used for basic statistics tabular and graphical display. The results: The research group found that BMI, to some extent, affects the performance in swimming and more in boys than in girls. The average height of the swimmers in this age group is at 172.4 cm swimmer is 165.6 cm. It was also found that the height of swimmers will affect the performance in the lane of free style at the boys. High numbers of training hours are not the main prerequisite to gain medals. And when comparing the males and females was found...

Title: Preparing showjumping rider and horse for racing season Objectives: Based on the results of research to create an optimal training plan for showjumping riders and horses for a preparatory period. Methods: The analysis of scientific literature, questionnaires, structured interviews, data evaluation and graphical results. Results: A training plan for the preparatory period was drawn up on the basis of the measured re- sults, and consists of: jumping dressage 3 times a week for 37 minutes cavaletti 1.7 times a week for 20 minutes, lungeing 1.3 times per week for 24 minutes fieldwork 2.25 times a week for 49 minutes, jumping 1.2 times a week for 38 minutes of which 0.75 times a week gymnastic series, regeneration means at least 2-3 times a week. Showjumping rid- ers should ride on average 38-39 horses a week and spend around 24.57 hours per week in the saddle. Title of thesis: The development of the teaching of swimming in the open the way for a child diagnosed with albinism, nystagmus, astigmatism and myopia Compiled by: Veronika Sidorová Supervisor: PaedDr. Karel Kovařovic Objectives: The aim of the work is to learn technically well proband A. K. crawl swimming, so that the result will be a change of its status from non-swimmer to a swimmer. Methodology of work: The object of the case study in my work will be twelve years old student, who is diagnosed with albinism, nystagmus, astigmatism and myopia. According to Decree 75 /2005 Sb., student does not meet the requirements of severe disability. When training freestyle swimming stroke'll investigate:  mastery of basic swimming skills and spatial orientation abilities;  ability to learn basic swimming stroke crawl;  training in sports performance 200m freestyle in a time;  handles the results graphically to 16 tables each week from October to January;  tables will be divided into 5 parts, each part will contain a given exercise, utilities, length swam meters per workout (45 minutes), errors and correction of these errors and exercise to reduce these errors. The results: On the basis of intensive training and research tables I found and reached that proband A.K., whom I at the beginning of their...

Title: Motivation of seniors to be physically active in water Problem: Czech population is ageing. Thanks to an effective and accessible health care and increased interest in a healthy lifestyle, the population of elderly without any health limitations in their everyday activities is increasing. There is also a growing potential and need for quality physical activity programs for seniors which would respect their individual needs. Objective:This thesis focuses on the motivation of seniors to be physically active in water, on the perceived benefits of this activity to their quality of life and also concentrates on the influence of participation in such activity on the social life of a senior. The thesis deals also with factors which could act as barriers limiting the participation of seniors in physical activities. Methods: Respondents - seniors of 60 years and older - were selected from active participants of organized physical activities in water in Prague. Their opinions were investigated in a questionnaire survey based on standard psychometric research tools from the area of sport psychology. The collected data were recoded and saved in a database, which was consequently subjected to a statistical analysis with the help of the SPSS software. Results: Physical activities in water obviously have...

A B S T R A C T T I T L E The Impact of physical activities in water on joints movements of seniors. O B J E C T I V E The evaluation of the impact of physical activities in water on joint movements of elderly people. From the data available which measures the movements of shoulder and hip joints at the beginning, in the middle and after the training session, we identify whether there are some changes in the range of movements available of the tested joints. M E T H O D The efficiency of swimming program whose duration was 15 weeks was evaluation by measuring the improvement of movements possible of shoulder and hip joints. There were two groups of elderly people tested. The first group consisted of university students taking courses for elderly people, the latter group consisted of elderly volunteers. Both programmes had the same content. R E S U LT S After the swimming program finished, there were measurable changes in the range of joint movements all participants could perform. In majority of cases these changes were positive (i.e enlargement of the range available), in some case the rotation of the joint in certain movements remained same but there were some elderly people whose range of joint movements was reduced. Overall, the range enlargement was estimated to be higher by 5 - 10ř. K E Y W O R D S...
Spontaneous activity of lower limbs in a vertical position in the aquatic environment
Sedláková, Barbora ; Nováková, Tereza (advisor) ; Břečková, Gabriela (referee)
Title: Spontaneous activity of lower limbs in a vertical position in the aquatic environment Objectives: The aim of this study was to determinate whether spontaneous activity of lower limb in the aquatic environment enable to determinate preferred swimming stroke of an individual. Also, whether identified asymmetry of the lower limbs during treading water depend on passive range of hip joints. Methods: Spontaneous activity of lower limbs in a vertical position with a hands and head out of water was recorded on video. Passive intra/extrarotion, flexion, extension, abduction in hip joints were measured using mechanical two-arm goniometer. Qualitative analysis of spontaneous activity of lower limbs recorded on video was conducted using Kinovea 0.8.15. Results: According to the results of our work, it can not be said that the preferred swimming stroke can be determined on the basis of the spontaneous activity of the lower limbs in a vertical position in the aquatic environment. We can assume that the individual chose the pattern of treading water according to an energetically economical way while minimizing resistive forces and not in pursuance of preferred swimming stroke. Bilateral asymmetry (left-right) during the water treading movement was detected in the whole group. The most significant...
