Creation of employment
Hliňáková, Petra ; Korcová, Renata (advisor) ; Alena, Alena (referee)
This thesis deals with creation of employment. The theoretical part is devoted to the definition of the basic concepts related to creation of employment. In the context of labour relations, it is important to mention the rights and obligations of employees and employers originating from the employment. The thesis is based on the available current Czech legislation. Important legislation governing the creation of employment are particularly Act No. 262/2006 Coll., the Labour Code, Act No. 435/2004 Coll., Employment Act, and Act. No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code. In connection with it is entry into force on January 1st 2014 there have been some changes in the Labour Code. In the practical part a qualitative research has been performed in the form of semi-standardized interviews and quantitative research has been performed in the form of own survey. The results that emerged from these interviews and survey have been interpreted and compared.
Social services and the role non govermental organizations in social security
Juránková, Petra ; Korcová, Renata (advisor) ; Alena, Alena (referee)
Questions relating to social services and social security are the topic of our time. These themes are actually for all age groups since they are currently affecting or them sooner or later they will touch. The aim of this thesis is to answer the research question which sounds: "Why does Lata-Programs for youth and families, z.ú. and his program "Two are better than one" concluded his registration of social activation services for families with children in early 2016?" To find an answer, it is necessary to become familiar with non profit organization Lata-Programs for youth and families, z.ú., with its programs and its funding. It was also necessary to analyze the offered social activation services for families with children through the register of social service providers in capital city of Prague. This diploma thesis as a whole includes knowledge of theory and practice and it is based on the legislative situation in the Czech Republic 1st January, 2016.

The partial aim of the thesis is to evaluate the overall marketing communication of the hotel, describe tools which are used to communicate and evaluate their influence on the overall promotion of the hotel. The main aim is to evaluate the online communication of the company and to propose solutions that will lead to more effective communication to customers. This aims are accomplished by several methodological steps. The first step is to clarify the basic theoretical concepts associated with this issue that is marketing a marketing communication with an emphasis on the online communication. The second step is to describe the current communication mix of the company and used tools and subsequent analysis of the online communication using web analytics. From these data is formulated the evaluation of marketing communication of the hotel including proposals that will lead to more efficient marketing communication of the company and also to better market position of the company.
Analysis of selected localities suitability for freshwater pearl mussel young stages in upper stretch of Vltava River
Myslivečková, Lenka ; Bílý, Michal (advisor) ; Alena, Alena (referee)
In the river basins of Teplá Vltava and Blanice in Šumava, samples of floating and deposited detritus were taken for the purpose of their physical and chemical analysis with the goal to identify suitable stations for the growth and development of juvenile specimen of freshwater pearl mussels. 6 locations in total were examined (5 in the river basin of Teplá Vltava, 1 in the river basin of Blanice) where bio-indicator tests were also conducted. In all these locations, samples were taken 3 times during the month of July and, in 1 location, once a month in the period from June to November. In the samples, the amount of Ca, P, K, Mg, Na, the proportion of organic component and the ratio C/N were determined. This analysis showed that short-term oscillations of the composition of detritus correlate, regarding their span, with seasonal changes. The dependence of such seasonal changes of detritus on the extent of the river flow rate was not proved. Differences in the amount of organic component, K, Mg, and the ratio C/N between floating and deposited detritus were found. In terms of qualitative composition, both types of detritus varied in the amounts of plant and inorganic particles. In comparison with available results from springs in the area of Blanice, the detritus from rivers differed significantly from the detritus originating in springs in the presence of faecal pellets, amorphous matter and plant particles. The growth of freshwater pearl mussels was dependent on the water temperature in the river, a dependence on the tested parameters of detritus was not proved, varying trends, however, were discovered (e.g. higher content of P, better growth). Water temperature showed to be dependent on the horizontal profile: water temperature rises with the direction of the water flow and the content of organic component in the detritus decreases with the direction of the water flow. Other trends in the horizontal profile were discovered as well but they were not proved statistically. Based on biological indicators, the locality of Ovesná (the lowest point down the river Teplá Vltava) was assessed to be the most suitable station.
Interspecific interactions in wetland communities in dependence on water regime: long-term test of stress-gradient hypothesis
Růžičková, Kateřina ; Douda, Jan (advisor) ; Alena, Alena (referee)
The Stress-gradient hypothesis predicates a change of interspecies relations from negative to positive according to the stress gradient. The basic assumption is that the presence of one species (the facilitator) makes the growth of other species easier. In this study was determined based on the 5years experiment, whether the interspecies interactions (i.e. the importance of facilitation and competition) changes according to the hydrological conditions. Three wetland species (Calamagrostis canescens, Carex elongata and Deschampsia cespitosa) were planted in experimental pots with the presence and absence of the dominant species (Carex elata). The hydrological gradient (= the stress gradient) was simulated by three types of hydrological conditions: dry, fluctuating and wet. The success of the species within the specific conditions was correlated with the fitness-related characteristics of the plants including the biomass, the number of ramets and the height of the plants. Following hypotheses were tested: i) at a low intensity of stress (with the wet treatment), the C. elata represents a competitor for other species. On the other hand, at a high intensity of stress (with the dry treatment), the C. elata represents a facilitator, making it easier to the other coexisting species to grow. This presumption was confirmed only with the D. cespitosa, which was more successful under dry treatment with the presence of a dominant species, which facilitated it. With the other two species the change of interspecific relations was not observed and the relationships remained negative. Furthermore the results showed, that in the dry treatment with the presence of a dominant species, there was a lower intensity of competition among the coexisting species. The experiment showed, that the interactions of particular species with dominant species can vary according to the stress gradient. The hydrological gradient also influences the character and intensity of interactions among the species.
Expansion of Calamagrostis epigejos
Lajpertová, Lenka ; Vachová, Pavla (advisor) ; Alena, Alena (referee)
In my Bachelor thesis, I focused to behavior strategy of reed grass (Calamagrostis epigejos (L.) Roth ) during settlement of newlyfree areas. I paid a special attention to its speed during the settlement. Further focus of the thesis is to the way of expansion of the grass to new stations. The last orientation of my work was how the species influences the composition of newly formed community. This grass from the family Poaceae (Poaceae) is mainly characterized by vegetative spreading which is typical for creation of underground rhizomes. Particularly this creation of the rhizomes makes this grass successful competitor during settlement of free areas. Beside the method of reproduction, its advantage is a creation of old vegetation (dead overground part of the plant), which is one of the many competitive advantages of the grass. The Thesis is based on an experiment with freely planted grasses framed by plastic rings. The Calamagrostis epigejos (L.) Roth was deployed to the center and border positions. I tracked the way of its expansion and the speed of the settlement from the given location. Further I followed the spatial arrangement of plants at single areas and the arrangement from the time change point of view. One of the most important abiotic factor is a temperature. In summer 2015, the temperatures higher than average combined withthe lack of the rain, the most probably influenced the speed of development and expansion of Calamagrostis epigejos. Calamagrostis epigejos did not produced any height or volume progress during its vegetative period. It concentrated its energy rather to the production of its ramets which are typical for this kind of the grass and which make it successful in occupation of the areas. The speed of the grow was average, more visible at center positions than at border ones. Compared to that, average higher distance of ramets was achieved at the border positions. In so much as Calamagrostis epigejos did not introduce its competitive skills in full, it gave the room to spread to other types of plants in its neighborhood. Species diversity of single plant communities did not differ significantly on individual plots, the biggest coverage occupied common groundsel (Senecio vulgaris) there.
