Small mammals in diet of barn owl in the Eastern Meditarranean

The extensive material of skeletal remains of mammals from a diet of barn owl in the eastern Mediterranean has been processed and evaluated with different techniques of chorological and morphometric analysis. At least 8400 individuals of 45 species of insectivores, rodents and bats were found in our total collection of samples, which represents a significant portion of fauna of the region. We have evaluated a chorological composition of the taphocoenoses and the interregional differences, manifested primarily by differences in the representation of satellite and accessory elements. We found a highly significant impoverishment of the isolated island taphocenoses (Cyprus, Karpathos, partly on Crete), where Cricetidae, Arvicolidae, C. leucodon etc. are missing. On the other hand the essential part of the dominance structure takes up the Rattus rattus, which acts here as an invasive species, significantly more successful than in the ragged continental contexts. The species diversity of the examined samples is positively correlated with the geographic latitude (taphocenoses of the northern regions are significantly richer) and negatively with the island effect and the degree of aridization. Collective management of the author's economic rights

85 Summary The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of the collecting societies in the information society. What are their possibilities, task and challenges in the current technological development. Technological development encourages creativity, multiplies the creative process, supports new business models and makes information in general much more accessible for the general public. On the other hand unprecedented and unknown threats have developed - threats for both the copyright holders and copyright users. In such an environment it is necessary to maintain a balance between the rights of authors and public interest at large, particularly education, research and access to information (Quotation from the Preamble of WIPO copyright treaty). It is the task of copyright law in general and collecting societies in particular to accommodate the interest of the original rights holders (such as creators) as well as the general public interest to use the respective work of art. The solution to this potential conflict traditionally lies in "limitations and exceptions"to the author's rights. Path planning of a nonholonomic mobile robot

This thesis deals with robot path planning by means of selected methods. Specifically by the methods RRT, IGPPR and ISSD. The theoretical part contains the overview of existing methods for path planning and description of previously mentioned methods. The practical part describes implementation of each methods which are applied to nonholonomic mobile robot working in 2D workspace with static obstacles.

Participative management of vegetation in designed landscape in the Štěkeň area

This thesis is a basework for a grant application for the project of restoration of tree lines in the Štěkeň area. The general aim of this proposal is (1) to prepare inventory of present tree and alley composition, and (2) to prepare the inventory of spatial distribution of old and memorial trees in the study area. The restoration of vegetation is supported by the project of landscape heritage area, which was prepared during the workshop of landscape architects in 2013.
