The thesis examines the challenges faced by an organization serving marginalized Roma people in attracting and retaining qualified project managers. The issues stem from low pay and the unique characteristics of the target group. As a result, the organization hires young, inexperienced graduates and provides them with project management training. However, ensuring a solid understanding of project management principles and their effective application poses challenges. The thesis aims to propose practical solutions and recommendations to address the identified problems through a comprehensive guide-like format. It analyzes the current situation, compares project management standards, and presents a case study to identify key issues. The thesis also explores the impact of the proposed solutions and their potential benefits for the organization. By enhancing project management practices and providing a supplementary knowledge source, the thesis seeks to support new hires in understanding the role and overcoming challenges in managing projects effectively.
The Use of Methods of the Project Management in a Chosen Non-profit Organization

The bachelor thesis focuses on the use of project management methods, tools and knowledge in planning a business conference for a selected non-profit organization AIESEC Brno. The thesis consists of three main parts. The first chapter explains the theoretical background of project management. The second chapter focuses on the analysis of the current state of the organization and the background of the previous edition of the conference with a description of the problems that occurred. The last part of the thesis contains proposals of solutions and their benefits for the project and the organization in the long run.

The second part contains the own analysis of the technical solution, which is focused on the technical specification of the solution. In the third part, a concrete project plan is developed by using project management tools and methods.

The second part analyses the current state of the company and the initial information for the project. The thesis concludes with the third part, which contains the practical application of the methods for project design and the evaluation of benefits for the company.

Návrh projektu digitální transformace

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na návrh realizace digitální transformace firmy, která se zaměřuje na silniční nákladní dopravu. Digitalizace je zaměřena především na oblast sledování vozidel a zaměstnanců. Cílem tohoto projektuje zvýšení efektivity a snížení nákladů za pohonné hmoty, opravy a jiné ovlivnitelné faktory. Sledování bude docíleno zavedením systémů IoT (Internet of Things), jako jsou například GPS lokátory, senzory a kamery, z kterých budou posílána data do navržené webové a Android aplikace, kde se s nimi bude dále pracovat. V práci bude také popsána teoretická část, ve které popíši různé metody projektového řízení. Vybrané metody poté využiji přímo v návrhu projektu digitální transformace.

This Bachelor thesis compares linear and iterative project management methodologies and explores the use of user-centered design principles in software development. It analyzes the application of Experiment Canvas frameworks in the development process of RedHat Company's Agility & Continuous Improvement Team. Based on the research findings, the thesis proposes the adoption of Experiment Canvas frameworks tailored to the needs of RedHat company. The study demonstrates that Experiment Canvas implementation can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of software development practices at RedHat.
