Image search using similarity measures
Harvánek, Martin ; Mašek, Jan (referee) ; Burget, Radim (advisor)
There are these methods implemented: circular sectors, color moments, color coherence vector and Gabor filters, they are based on low-level image features. These methods were evaluated after their optimal parameters were found. The finding of optimal parameters of methods is done by measuring of classification accuracy of learning operators and usage of operator cross validation on images in program RapidMiner. Implemented methods are evaluated on these image categories - ancient, beach, bus, dinousaur, elephant, flower, food, horse, mountain and natives, based on total average precision. The classification accuracy result is increased by 8 % by implemented modification (HSB color space + statistical function median) of original method circular sectors. The combination of methods color moments, circular sectors and Gabor filters with weighted ratio gives the best total average precision at 70,48 % and is the best method among all implemented methods.
Realization of supercomputer using graphic card
Jasovský, Filip ; Karásek, Jan (referee) ; Mašek, Jan (advisor)
This master´s thesis deals with realization of supercomputer using graphic card with CUDA technology. The theoretical part of this thesis describes the function and the possibility of graphic cards and desktop computers and processes taking place in the proces sof calculations on them. The practical part deals with creation system for calculations on the graphic card using the algorithm of artificial intelligence, more specifically artificial neural networks. Subsequently is the generated program used for data classification of large input data file. Finally the results are compared.
Image object detection using template
Novák, Pavel ; Mašek, Jan (referee) ; Burget, Radim (advisor)
This Thesis is focused to Image Object Detection using Template. Main Benefit of this Work is a new Method for sympthoms extraction from Histogram of Oriented Gradients using set of Comparators. In this used Work Methods of Image comparing and Sympthoms extraction are described. Main Part is given to Histogram of Oriented Gradients Method. We came out from this Method. In this Work is used small training Data Set (100 pcs.) verified by X-Validation, followed by tests on real Sceneries. Achieved success Rate using X-Validation is 98%. for SVM Algorithm.
New methods for emotion recognition from text
Onderka, Jakub ; Burget, Radim (referee) ; Mašek, Jan (advisor)
This master’s thesis is about a method for sentimental analysis, especially machine learning methods without teacher. In detail are described method for semantic modeling LSA, pLSA a LDA. It was created a LDA implementation in Java language, which was used to emotional classification of 860 Czech documents to six different emotional categories. Maximal accuracy was 24 % if optimized parameters was used.
Image object detector based on C4 algorithm
Vylíčil, Radek ; Rajmic, Pavel (referee) ; Mašek, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with the image object detection using Contour cues. The text describes methods how to train and test object detector. The main contribution of this thesis consists in creation Feature extractor for creation object detector in Java programming. The functionality of object detector was demonstrated on medical images.
Processing of statistics from network operation generator IxChariot in OPNET Modeler simulation environment
Malina, Karel ; Mašek, Jan (referee) ; Bartl, Milan (advisor)
This thesis "Processing statistics generator IxChariot network traffic in an environmentsimulator OPNET Modeler" is focused on collaboration solution simulation tool OPNET Modeler with IxChariot traffic generator and the principle of their connection. The goal is to display the statistics generated in IxChariot software by OPNET Modeler. In this thesis is described procedure of settings inside simulation environment OPNET modeler which are necessary for correct functionality of simulation.
Image object detection using Haar-like features
Mašek, Jan ; Smékal, Zdeněk (referee) ; Burget, Radim (advisor)
This thesis deals with the image object detection using Haar--like features and AdaBoost algorithm. The text describes methods how to train and test an object detector. The main contributon of this thesis consists in creation image object detector in Java programming language. Created algorithms were integrated as plugin into the RapidMiner tool, which is widely used and known worldwide as tool for data mining. The thesis contains the instructions for created operators and few exaples for executing in RapidMiner tool. The functionality of image object detector was demonstrated on selected medical images.
Paralinguistic signals recognition in spoken dialogs
Mašek, Jan ; Míča, Ivan (referee) ; Atassi, Hicham (advisor)
This document describes the three methods for the detection and classification of paralinguistic expressions such as laughing and crying from usual speech by analysis of the audio signal. The database of records was originally designed for this purpose. When analyzing everyday dialogs, music might be included, so the database was extended by four new classes as speech, music, singing with music and usual speech with background music. Feature extraction, feature reduction and classification are common steps in recognizing for all three methods. Difference of the methods is given by classification process in detail. One classification of all six classes at once is proposed in the first method called straight approach. In the second method called decision tree oriented approach we are using five intuitive sub classifiers in the tree structure and the final method uses for classification emotion coupling approach. The best features were reduced by feature evaluation using F-ratio and GMM classifiers were used for the each classification part.
Modelling of Free Beam Loaded by Follower Load
Mašek, Jan ; Keršner, Zbyněk (referee) ; Frantík, Petr (advisor)
The aim of the presented thesis is to create a non-linear dynamical model of a free rod loaded by a follower force. The model is inspired by a slender flexible missile loaded by an end thrust. Because of the nature of the problem, the model has to be capable of large deflections. Another requirements on the model are to implement material the damping and the damping due to the interaction of the model with a surrounding medium and the influence of gravitational field. In the future, the model will be used for examination of the post-critical behavior of such construction. Therefore low computational demands of the simulation are required. The derived formulation of the numerical model will be implemented using the Java programming language. For observation of the simulation process and for monitoring of the state variables, an appropriate graphic interface will be created. The accuracy of the derived model will be verified by the comparison of selected values to the analytical solution.
