System for Service Workers’ Routes Planning
Mlčoch, Michal ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Hynek, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the issue of service requests arising in smart cities and their planning into the routes for service workers. The thesis discusses the issue of the concept of smart cities, route optimization and analysis of services providing route optimization. This work aims to create a system for planning the routes of service workers for the smart city platform developed by Logimic. The main functionality is to enable route optimization through third-party services, and the emphasis is on being able to easily change the thirdparty service providing the optimization.
System for Smart Central Heating Regulation
Sikula, Jakub ; John, Petr (referee) ; Hynek, Jiří (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor's thesis was to design and implement a central heating control system with a focus on the control of individual rooms. This system is remotely controlled by the Logimic Smart City platform and automatically regulates the heating in an adaptive way. This method brings significant savings to households that are equipped with such a system. This solution differs from existing solutions mainly in that we enter the desired room temperature into the system and the system controls the heating elements so that they reach and maintain the desired room temperature.
API Testing on Smart City Platform
Kovalski, Martin ; John, Petr (referee) ; Hynek, Jiří (advisor)
The IoT environment involves a large number of sensors that produce vast amounts of data. This data needs to be processed and displayed to users. Various clients (web or mobile applications) are created for this purpose. In order to get the data to these clients, application interfaces are needed. The aim of this work is to test an existing REST-like application interface that allows data transfer from the cloud to client applications and to provide endpoint developers of this API with a tool that will allow them to test emerging endpoints in the future. To this end, an application has been created to facilitate the management and creation of tests. These tests are then run using the Codeception testing framework. The resulting application allows you to test a REST API that has an OpenAPI specification created and that uses a PostgreSQL database to run.
Application for Communication between Volunteers and Seniors
Pomkla, František ; Hynek, Jiří (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
The Moudrá Síť app provides a platform for seniors and volunteer assistants to communicate and help seniors solve digital technology problems. The main goal of this project is to educate seniors and to increase their digital literacy. This thesis focuses also on technologies for web application development, the use of CRM systems for database development, Vercel web hosting, and web accessibility. Next, the basic principles and technologies for creating chatbots are presented. The result of the thesis is a functional web application already tested by seniors as well as a comparison of two chatbot solutions based on the GPT model and the Dialogflow platform using its knowledge base.
System for Acquisition and Analysis of Real Estate Data from WWW
Karpíšek, Miroslav ; Hynek, Jiří (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
This project is focused on designing a system for automatic extraction of real estate data from real estate servers. In the theoretical part, this work is first placed in the context of data engineering. Subsequently, the used technologies and system components that were used in the project are described, same as their importance within the framework of the created platform intended for real estate investors for the purpose of renting them. The work also includes an evaluation of the basic methods used to predict the rent amount, which is used to calculate the return of investment.
Data Analysis and Visualization of the Brno City Council
Zaklová, Kristýna ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Hynek, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this thesis was to analyze the data from the Brno City Council voting and propose their visualization, i.e. an understandable presentation of the obtained information and statistics about the representatives' decisions. The system was designed to be applicable to other councils, and thus, it includes an input model for voting data. The developed solution is a web application with a client-server architecture, and it was implemented using the Flask framework and the React library. The correctness of the created dataset was verified against the minutes of council meetings. The application itself was tested with a selected sample of users and in real operation. The main benefits of this work include providing more transparent information about the activities of Brno city councillors, creating an analytical tool for Brno citizens, and offering the potential to extend the solution to other municipalities.
Analysis and Visualizaion of Brno Public Transport Data
Lazúr, Juraj ; Škarvada, Libor (referee) ; Hynek, Jiří (advisor)
The planning and management of modern public transport systems requires knowledge of the behaviour of the systems in a real environment. The aim of this thesis is to simplify the procedure of extracting useful knowledge from vehicle delay data in the Brno public transport system. The solution to the problem consisted in the design and implementation of a tool that will autonomously process and analyze this data. The outputs generated by the implemented tool provide support for planning, implementation and evaluation of changes in the public transport system. They also allow the detection of critical points and recurring patterns in the system. The results of this work allow for a more efficient operation of the public transport system and should serve to increase the satisfaction of the travelling public.
Vision-based Web Page Segmentation
Maštera, František ; Hynek, Jiří (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
The FitLayout library offers a suite of implemented web page segmentation algorithms along with a number of tools for their evaluation and further development. The goal of this thesis is to extend this suite by another of already existing algorithms. To meet this goal, the Cormier et al. algorithm was chosen and integrated into the FitLayout. The plausibility of its implementation against its publication has been duly verified. Its extensive evaluation was also carried out to determine its properties and behaviour under different circumstances, which revealed algorithm settings that improve the quality of its outputs on the tested data sample by up to 9.89 %. As a result of this thesis, the FitLayout library has been extended with a new web page segmentation algorithm, which can be used in further research in this area that can be supported with the results found in this thesis.
Model of Cycling Traffic Intensity in Brno
