The use of ultrasonic testing in construction
Sztulová, Petra ; Komárková, Tereza (referee) ; Láník, Jaromír (advisor)
The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part is focused on the use of ultrasonic methods in building practice. Explains here how ultrasound works. The second part focuses on the possibility of anchoring. It describes what is chemical, mechanical anchoring. It deals with the tensile testing additionally mounted chemical anchors Hilti. Primarily focuses on what happens if it fails to comply with the correct technological procedure when installing chemical anchors.
Experimental and numerical analysis of reinforced concrete reinforcement member subjected to shear forces
Folvarčná, Ingrid ; Láník, Jaromír (referee) ; Žítt, Petr (advisor)
Design and manufacture of test elements for experimental laboratory testing of shear damage. Testing of selected mechanical characteristics of test elements. Experimental analysis of test elements in the lab, creating a mathematical model in ATENA software, static analysis. Evaluation of experimental analysis and comparison with the values of static analysis. Final overall evaluation.
Evaluation of technical conditions of the object
Majtánová, Romana Viktória ; Láník, Jaromír (referee) ; Schmid, Pavel (advisor)
This work deals with construction material research office building with eighteen floors to the street Šumavská 35 in Brno with ground plan dimensions of about 25 x 25 m. The structure consists of a reinforced concrete substructure and floors of steel frame. The scope of the survey will determine the quality of concrete in vertical supporting columns at level 1. PP structures using cores and subsequent laboratory testing. Another task will be to verify the status of moorings steel perimeter columns to the building of reinforced concrete pillars at the boundary of 1st basement and 1st floor.
Assessment of defects and faults of ETICS Systems
David, Jan ; Láník, Jaromír (referee) ; Schmid, Pavel (advisor)
This diploma thesis discusses the problems of defects and faults of external thermal insulation composite systems. The first part describes the correct procedures for application systems, the next part describes defects, faults and their causes and the end of the thesis describes the contactless diagnostic methods used for the survey of ETICS. This part is mainly focus on detection of anchors. The example shows the calculation of anchoring.
Influence of dispersed reinforcement on the physico-mechanical properties of the resulting composite
Láník, Jaromír ; Adámek, Jiří (referee) ; Kolář,, Karel (referee) ; Doc.Ing. Karel Kubečka, Ph.D (referee) ; Schmid, Pavel (advisor)
The dissertation is focused on the issue of implementation and evaluation of the laboratory tests fiber reinforced concrete. The issue of steel fiber is solved in terms of their physico-mechanical parameters, which are an important part of their design and reliable operation in the product design. The experimental part of the thesis is focused on laboratory tests of steel fiber of different strength classes and different weight benefits of steel fibers, the default reference mixture of plain concrete are certified mixtures commonly used as structural concrete in construction. The evaluation of the testing of samples produced steel fiber is made by three selected recommending regulations for the design and testing of structural steel fiber. In conclusion, the individual obtained experimental results are compared.
Diagnostics of steel fiber reinforced concrete industrial floors
Kuře, Václav ; Láník, Jaromír (referee) ; Schmid, Pavel (advisor)
This final thesis is divided into two parts. The first, theoretic part is focused on issue about industrial concrete floors, their production and adjustment. Special attention is paid to the mineral shakes, steel fibres and concrete, which is used to these constructions. There are more information about specific standardized tests of steel fibre concrete and some damages of concrete floors in other chapters. Second part of the diploma thesis is practical. Theoretical knowledge are applied to the actual construction. Survey methodology and diagnostic work are also desribed. Data processing and evaluation with the commentary is also attached to this part. The conclusion summarizes the results and selected findings relating to the issue are also included there.
Experimental and numerical analysis of strenghtened reinforced concrete member loaded to bending
Vepřek, Karel ; Láník, Jaromír (referee) ; Žítt, Petr (advisor)
Design and manufacture of test elements for experimental testing laboratory. Testing of selected mechanical characteristics of test elements. Experimental analysis of test elements in the lab, creating a mathematical model in ATENA software and static calculation. Evaluation of experimental analysis and comparison with the values of numerical analysis. Graphic comparing the results of a final overall evaluation.
Assessment of existing reinforced concrete structures
Pospíšil, Ondřej ; Láník, Jaromír (referee) ; Schmid, Pavel (advisor)
This master’s thesis is concerned with the static load capacity assessment of the reinforced concrete facility in the sports and recreational compound Kraví Hora in Brno, which is up to be reconstructed. The calculation results, overall assessment and static security suggestions are interpreted in the summary of the thesis.
Current evaluation of technical conditions existing building
Kopečková, Hana ; Láník, Jaromír (referee) ; Schmid, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals about the methodology, implementation and evaluation of diagnostic work of units and structural elements of the residental building built on Gorkého street in Brno. The building is located in the premesis of the vicinity of The Faculty of Arts, where was the extensive reconstruction and also the final extension. The survey was conducted for this reason . The experimantal part of the thesis include a static assessment of the mansory wall.
Experimental and numerical analysis of composite timber-concrete structures
Zelený, Petr ; Láník, Jaromír (referee) ; Žítt, Petr (advisor)
The master´s thesis deals with wood-concrete composite floors constructions. The work is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part describes methods of construction and materials used for wood-concrete composite constructions. The practical part describes an experimental four point bend test carried out on wood-concrete composite elements and samples. Further, manual calculation was performed according to Eurocode 5 and in program Asteres three variants of test elements were modeled. Each variant had different composite stiffness according to the working diagram of composite elements. At the end, experimental, computational and numerical results were compared.
