Web-Based Panorama Image Viewer
Slunský, Tomáš ; Herout, Adam (referee) ; Čadík, Martin (advisor)
The purpose of this bachelor's thesis is the implementation of panoramic viewer of videos and images with use of WebGL. Thesis is focussing on processing videos in fisheye mode without having to convert them to equirectangular projection. Between other aspects of this thesis belongs the improvement of panoramic viewer with compass or with information about viewers angle.
Image Completion Using Depth Maps
Valeš, Ondřej ; Brejcha, Jan (referee) ; Čadík, Martin (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to design and implement aplication for dataset driven scene completion utilizing data from similar dataset images and test the posibility of generating data used in reconstruction directly from depth map. For scene matching in dataset novel modification of GIST descriptor including depth data is used. Furthermore, depth maps can be used to split reconstructed image into parts with similar depth, simplifying reconstruction process. Part of this thesis is also computing GIST descriptors for datset images and implementation of tools for searching datset for similar images using depth maps.
User Interface for HDR Tone Mapping System
Jedlička, Jan ; Špaňhel, Jakub (referee) ; Čadík, Martin (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to improve graphical user interface of Tone Mapping Studio(TMS) program. This program is being developed on the Faculty of Information Technology(FIT), Brno University of Technology (BUT) by doc. Ing. Martin Čadík, PhD. The current program is using framework Qt3 , which is old and not compatible with modern libraries. This program has to be rewritten to support current version Qt5. I will analyze other programs in the area of working with High Dynamic Range (HDR) images and video. Changes for improving the interface will be proposed and UX tests will be done. Second part will consist of comparing plug-ins for converting images to grayscale that already exists in TMS.
Algorithms for Automatic Spherical Image and Video Cropping
Color-to-Grayscale Conversions
Pospíšil, Petr ; Brejcha, Jan (referee) ; Čadík, Martin (advisor)
Grayscale pictures were never replaced by color ones and will probably never be, because they are indispensable in many areas. In this thesis was chosen three methods for color-to-gray conversion. These methods was implemented afterwards. Within this thesis was also made test set of 24 HDR pictures, which was together with existing set of 24 LDR pictures used to test and evaluate features of implemented methods. These methods were also compared from the point of accurancy and preference using questionnaire.
Object Tracking in Panoramic Video
Ambrož, Vít ; Hradiš, Michal (referee) ; Čadík, Martin (advisor)
The master thesis maps the state of the art of visual object tracking in panoramic 360° video. The thesis aims to reveal the main problems related to visual object tracking and moreover focuses on their solution in panoramic videos. In the study of the existing approaches was found that very few solutions of visual object tracking in equirectangular projection of panoramic video have been implemented so far. This thesis therefore presents two improvements of object tracking methods that are based on the adaptation of equirectangular frames. In addition, this thesis brings the manually created dataset of panoramic videos with more than 9900 annotations. Finally the detailed evaluation of 12 well known and state of the art trackers has been performed for this new dataset.
Web for HDR Image and Video Processing
Beran, Martin ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Čadík, Martin (advisor)
The main goal of this bachelor thesis is the creation of web system, by which it is possible to convert photos and videos into HDR format and then adjust and display them. During processing and adjusting it is possible to see the actual view in the miniature of subsequent photo. After completing the adjusments it is possible to display and download the final file in full resolution. For interaction with user is prepared interface for uploading photos and a set of operators and filters for their adjustment.
Volumetric Segmentation of Dental CT Data
Berezný, Matej ; Kodym, Oldřich (referee) ; Čadík, Martin (advisor)
The main goal of this work was to use neural networks for volumetric segmentation of dental CBCT data. As a byproducts, both new dataset including sparse and dense annotations and automatic preprocessing pipeline were produced. Additionally, the possibility of applying transfer learning and multi-phase training in order to improve segmentation results was tested. From the various tests that were carried out, conclusion can be drawn that both multi-phase training and transfer learning showed substantial improvement in dice score for both sparse and dense annotations compared to the baseline method.
Web App for Image and Video Quality Assessment
Píč, Karel ; Bobák, Petr (referee) ; Čadík, Martin (advisor)
This work will be a web application for image and video quality assessment, especially those with a high dynamic range (HDR). The metrics are used for the evaluation, the results of which will be used for scientific purposes. Broader public citizens will be acquainted with this issue. This app will have an assistant available for a simple understanding of the whole application. The application also tries to be autonomous and dynamic. For example, new metrics can be added from the administration environment and editing on the server side is not required. The administrator will be able to upload a metric, a local library, a startup script, and define the parameters. The parameters provide metrics necessary data from the processed image or video. Only installation of system applications and libraries will be required on the server side.
Photographic Detail Enhancement Methods
Sedlář, Pavel ; Zemčík, Pavel (referee) ; Čadík, Martin (advisor)
The aim of this Bachelor Thesis, which falls within the field of computer vision, is to get acquainted with the issue of methods that can highlight detail in the image. This work also describes specific methods that will later be implemented and with which, last but not least, experiment for further use.
