Problems of post production in photojournalism on the example of the World Press Photo competition

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to describe problem of digital postproduction on the example of the pictures from World Press Photo contest. Theoretical part of this thesis deals with the redefinition of standard of photojournalism and with the perception of digital postproduction by media consumers. Practical part contains case studies of photographs that have been disqualified or have become the subject of controversy and an interview with Mark E. Johnson from NPPA. This part also includes two questionnaires, which examine the perception of digital postproduction by media consumers and winners of World Press Photo contest.
The Change of viewers habits as a result of new media and internet era

(in English): This thesis describes, how the internet and new media change the habits of viewers when watching audiovisual content. In a theoretical part there is briefly described an evolution of television as a medium in its every phase and also are there critically introduced new ways of video consumption. The practical part contains a qualitative sociological research in a form of deep interviews with 23 participants divided into groups by sociodemographic group. The thesis reflects difference in a media praxis between these sociodemographic groups and describes an influence of new media on audiovisual content consumption.

Comparisons of methods for fixation and preparation of samples for tapeworms by scanning electron microscopy.

The bachelor thesis provides a reviw of the basic information about the development of electron microscopy, a brief description of scanning electron microscope (SEM) and preparation of samples. Different methods of processing samples for SEM observations have been compared using tapeworms of the genus Senga as a model.
