Foltýnová, Michaela ; Mléčka, Jan (referee) ; Šindlar, Jiljí (advisor) ; Krupicová, Jana (advisor)
New city apartment house is located in the center of Brno, incorporated into older apartment buildings on the Klíčova street and partly on the Zvěřinova Street, near the Křenová street, Olomoucká street a Tržní street. It is a monolithic reinforced concrete skeleton, founded on piles, with five aboveground floors and one underground floor, finished by a flat roof. The house is separated by four entrances to units. Each of these units contains a specific type of flat and house is fully wheelchair accessible. In the house there is a underground parking, service areas and flats. Behind the house there is a recreational area for residents of the house. This house is interesting because of interior design and attractive location, especially thanks to the position in the city center, easy accessibility and pleasant surroundings near the river Svitava and a adjacent alley.
Residential Complex in Brno - Komín
Dušková, Barbora ; Nový, Vítězslav (referee) ; Františák, Luboš (advisor)
The subject of the bachelor thesis was to design a residential complex in the area between the existing gardens and two streets - Houškova and Pastviny, in the city of Brno - Komin. Given the disparities parcel proposal, I divided it into three parts. In the lower part, which has only little elevation, I designed four apartment buildings with just 3 floors. Those buildings are creating a public space between them selves. In the second, the middle section there are two types of townhouses and the third part is due to its steep slope designed for two terraced houses. Thanks to the diversity of housing you will find people of all ages and different social stratacoming to live here. Due to the excess height of apartment buildings and houses seem almost similar and there is no high-rise dominant. Houses naturally follow the sloping terrain.
New scene of the Beseda House in Vyškov - neoplasm in a historical setting
Žvak, Ondřej ; Plášil, Jiří (referee) ; Hrabec, Josef (advisor)
The main target was to create a new hall for 600 people. I tried to make a multifunctional hall which can be used as a theathre or a place for exhibition, balls etc. The apearence of the building is influenced by lack of space. The building was designed in minimalistic style. Facade reacts to historical setting. The building is composed from three mutually displaced blocks. Interier is also in minimalistic style. I used light colours and limited number of materials.
Dřeviny vhodné jako doprovod pozemních komunikací
Ferby, Vojtěch
This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of tree selection as an escort of the roads. Many factors influence the choice of the ideal type of wood. These are, for example, habitat conditions, genetic properties of trees, their demands of light, moisture, soil, etc. Moreover it is very important to take in consideration their resistance to salinization, pests or extreme urban conditions. Another choosing factor may lie in the hands of the greenery designer. This was noticeable particu-larly in history, when the selection of woody species was often led by the contem-porary fashion. These trees may not prosper on their location and therefore cli-matic conditions and demands are the top criteria. Nowadays, the nature of the entire planting, the principle of its maintenance, cutting and so on is determined by the up to date legislation.
Aleje a jejich role v krajině - stav a perspektivy
Thiel, Marek
This diploma thesis consists of two parts. The first, theoretical part, deals with the problematics of tree alleys and tree avenues in the countryside, and it also defines elementary concepts necessary to handle such problematics. Furthermore, the theoretical part seeks to handle the risks connected with tree alley localization and consecutive analysis of already existing data about the tree alleys. The second, practical part, deals with analysis of tree valleys in three municipalities with extended powers in the South Moravian region of the Czech Republic and its geographical foundation, which are based on these territories. Additionally, this part includes analyses of tree valleys and avenues located near various types of roads and also within non-urban and urban areas. Further on, the next goal was to create a specific plan of administration and renewal of tree alleys and avenues. Finally, the status and perspectives of tree alleys in the Czech landscape has been measured and rated. Overall, the analysis included 597 elements, 242 out of which were tree alleys, and 355 were tree avenues. Most of the studied valleys and avenues were located along local pathways and 3rd degree roads. The status of tree valleys and avenues in the urban areas has revealed itself to be better than of those which were located in the non-urban areas.

Diploma thesis solves problems of avenues and rows of trees in the landscape. The mapping of avenues and rows of trees by Methodology of avenues mapping 2015 (Dušek a Klemensová, 2015) in Vyskov district was the main aim of the thesis. The database of avenues and rows of trees in district of Vyskov, which will be as separate thematic layer in the Czech National Geoportal INSPIRE, is the result of mapping. Utilization of these results as a tool of regional development was another aim of the thesis. Depending on the results, the cycle route with information boards and benches were proposed. The results were graphically processed. In conclusion, the states and perspectives of the avenues in our landscape were evaluated. 224 elements (106 avenues and 118 rows of trees) were mapped in Vyskov district. The broadleaved ornamental trees were the mostly from the tree species. The state of health was most often rated 2 (good) and 1 (excellent). Using the design of cycle routes, etc. is one of the possibilities of promoting the theme of avenues and rows of trees in our society.

The primary goal of the thesis is to map and inventorize said tree avenues and alleys and further consider their status, as given by „Metodiky mapování alejí 2015 (Dušek a Klemensová, 2015) in a chosen area of an administrative sector in the Znojmo district. The results of the mapping shall serve to create a database of tree alleys and avenues in the Znojmo district. The secondary goal of the thesis was an analysis of the current tree avenues and alleys as compared with historical background. The final task was to assess the status and future perspective of the alleys of the Czech countryside. Altogether, 71 elements of the chosen area were mapped, 39 out of which were tree alleys, and 32 were tree avenues. From the woody species, fruit trees were the most frequently represented group. The health condition of the woody species has been, on average, measured to be grade 2, or Good.

Aleje a stromořadí na Znojemsku
Kratochvíl, Pavel
This bachelor’s thesis deals with alleys and its associated problems. Sixteen settle-ments near Znojmo were chosen as a representative area. The condition of said alleys was reviewed based on my field research. I also proposed plans to help restore and preserve them for future. Methodology used in the thesis was provided to me by Arni-ka organization, for which the research was carried out. The thesis evaluates historical development of alleys since antiquity until the present days, and denotes the challen-ges that alleys have to face today. The results will help to describe the current situation and condition of alleys, and explain their evolution in the landscape. Yielded results show, that the main issue of alleys in the representative area is inadequate reple-nishment of individual trees
