The National Repository of Grey Literature Partner Network

The growing need for access to collections of grey literature in the field of science, research and education leading to a coordinated collection building and collection at all levels. National Technical Library (NTL) has provided the collection of grey literature at the national level through the project "The Digital Library for Grey Literature – Functional Model and Pilot Implementation” supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic under research program projects.The project aims to build the National Repository of Grey Literature (NRGL). A network of grey literature producers has come into being along with the building of the NRGL digital repository. Emergence this network is conditioned by several reasons. NRGL focuses on technical grey literature, especially in science, research and education. The main partners and sources of gray literature in the field of science and research are the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, public research institutions and grant agencies. In the area of education are especially high school, library and museums. Cooperation is also focused on public administration and can occur even in the commercial sector. The partner can not become any body, because NRGL to offer its users the technical documents gray literature with original and valuable content. An important factor contributing to the need for networking is the necessity of abiding by Czech law, primarily laws to do with copyright, the protection of privacy and general contractual rights. Paper presents NRGL building a partner network with specific examples from within the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, research institutions, universities, libraries, etc., and draw attention to important legal issues from the grey literature. To promote cooperation is the project's website (http://nrgl.techlib.cz) and developed the methodology, procedures, and organized training.

Open Access and institutional repository : approach of the Czech Academy of Science and link-up to international projects

The Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic (ASCR) is a signatary of the Berlin Declaration since the last year. In April 2009 the Scientific Council of the Academy stepped forward and recommended in a statement addressed to the newly elected management of the Academy to: formulate ASCR policy for OA; finish preparation of the central institutional repository of ASCR and use it for OA; actively use ASCR’s potential as a unified and strong organization for effective development of an information infrastructure for R&D and determine concrete rules for access to infrastructures built in the frame of “OP VaVpI EU” projects. The Czech Academy of Sciences Library (CASL) has been invited to participate in the process and actively contribute to the OA case in the future. There are a few projects with central impact that concerns OA. We describe two of them in the paper.

PPP Possibilities in Transportation Projects in the Czech Republic

This Diploma Thesis deals with Public Private Partnerships (PPP) projects in transportation area in the conditions of the Czech Republic. Theoretical part of the Thesis describes basic rules of project finance, as an elementary part of each PPP project, as well as analyzes key economic, legal, tax and accounting aspects of the PPP projects within the Czech Republic. Practical part of the Thesis describes the development of PPP projects in the whole Europe. Current pilot PPP projects in the Czech Republic are also analyzed. Real PPP project, D3 highway, and its economic availability are being analyzed and evaluated in the final part of the Thesis.

Convergence Project of IASB and FASB to Harmonise IFRS and US GAAP

The thesis deals with harmonisation of international accounting standards, more specifically with the convergence of US GAAP and IFRS. Its first chapter describes the structures of IASB and FASB (the boards responsible for preparing IFRS, respectively US GAAP) and their due process. The second chapter gives history overview of their convergence project to harmonise US GAAP and IFRS and describes its tools. The third chapter focuses on one of the current main joint projects of the Boards - financial statement presentation and tries to answer some of the questions addressed in its discussion paper published for public comments.

Implementation of credit card management system in international banking company environment from customers point of view

Tato práce představuje implementaci systému pro správu kreditních karet v mezinárodní bankovní společnosti. Klade si za cíl srovnat teoretické aspekty offshoringu s reálným projektem. Po seznámení s celým průběhem implementace je každá fáze projektu podrobně analyzována a výsledky analýzy jsou srovnávány s teoretickou situací, ve které by byl projekt outsourcován. Na tomto srovnání jsou vidět rozdíly a specifika outsourcingu i offshoringu, a zároveň umožňuje rozhodnout o výhodách, které offshoring našemu týmu přinesl. Následuje krátké zhodnocení obou přístupů, ve kterém se snažím zohlednit zejména manažerský přístup. Výsledkem srovnání je teze, že offshoring je extrémním případem outsourcingu, protože má oproti němu vyšší jak náklady, tak i benefity. V závěru potvrzuji hypotézu, že offshoring byl pro průběh projektu výhodný a shrnuji poznatky získané v průběhu práce na projektu.

METODIKA PRÁCE BUSINESS ANALYTIKA NA DLOUHODOBĚ TRVAJÍCÍCH PROJEKTECH

Dlouhodobě trvající projekty patří do kategorie projektů majících zvláštní charakteristiky. Tato diplomová práce obsahuje mimo jiné studii situace příkladu existujícího dlouhodobě trvajícího projektu a poukazuje na důležité okolnosti, které ovlivňují práci role business analyst (byznys analytika). Na základě studia konkrétního případu je prezentován koncept nové metodologie pro roli byznys analytika, jehož cílem je práci této role zpřehlednit a zefektivnit. Byznys analytik jako role je zkoumán z hlediska postupu jeho činností, vztahu k ostatním projektovým rolím a také k zákazníkovi a ostatním rolím zainteresovaným na projektu. Nový návrh metodiky je zaměřen na minimalizaci problémů a rizik identifikovaných v rámci studia případového projektu. Definuje rozsah činností byznys analytika a techniky, jakými jsou tyto činnosti vykonávány. Celá metodika je podpořena specifikací dokumentů relevantních pro práci byznys analytika, což představuje zejména dokumenty pro samotnou správu požadavků, řízení toku nových požadavků, specifikaci řešení pokrývajících požadavky a hodnocení naplnění zákazníkových očekávání. Všechny části práce jsou zpracovány s ohledem na specifika prostředí dlouhodobě trvajících projektů, kde je zvýšená míra fluktuace členů projektového týmu a nemožnost dlouhodobě alokovat zkušené profesionály.

Vyhodnotenie systému a princípov dotačnej politiky EU pomocou Komunitárnych programov, popis postupov prípravy a realizácie projektov. Cieľom je prispieť k informovanosti o možnostiach čerpania týchto prostriedkov. Právna úprava financovania z Komunitárnych programov. Návody, ako v rozpočtovom období 2007-2013 správne vytvoriť, realizovať a úspešne ukončiť projekty Siedmeho rámcového programu.
