Canistherapy in school for children with special needs : children with multiple disabilities THESIS ABSTRACT The theoretical part of this bachelor thesis deals with the characteristics of canistherapy, its methodology and terminology, its phases of development and the current approach of this method. It also describes the most frequent disorders in children with multiple disabilities attending the Primary School and Practical School SVÍTÁNÍ, P.B.O., such as cerebral palsy and learning disability. The practical part of the thesis is devoted to the research carried out by means of observation, interview and questionnaire in order to confirm or refute the presumption of a positive effect of canistherapy on children with multiple disabilities attending the Primary School and Practical School SVÍTÁNÍ, P.B.O.
