Ideas of teachers of a school about the content of the subject Religion

The bachelor's thesis deals with the teaching of religion, the content of the religion class and the relationship between the school and the church, both on a theoretical and practical level. Theoretical part of the thesis deals with the teaching of religion, distinguishes it from catechesis and places it in the legislative framework. It deals with the content of the religion lesson, which forms the basis for the practical part. The practical part of the work is devoted to quantitative research, which examines the ideas of teachers of specific schools about religion lessons, and qualitative research, which was conducted in the form of in-depth interviews.
Teacher-Pupil Relation in Religious Education and Catechesis

The diploma thesis "Teacher-Pupil Relation in Religious Education and Catechesis" presents some aspects of relations in religious education and catechesis. In the first part of the thesis, some general characteristics of teacher-pupil relation are described from the perspective of pedagogy and psychology and some ethic aspects of this relation are outlined. The second part deals with the specific features of the relations developed in religious education and catechesis. The subject and aim of catechesis (which is the growth of the catechised's faith) and of the religious education (the developement of mature and responsible attitude towards religious belief and Christianity) both imply the conclusion, that the teacher-pupil relation is much closer and more personal than in other school subjects teaching. This relation should be, above all, based on mutual love and respect. This proximity can become the source of mutual enrichment, but it also brings a considerable risk of failure and abuse. The damages caused this way have grave consequences for the personal developement of the catechised, their relation towards themselves, other people and God. Premonstratensian Education in the Czech Territory in the 19th Century

Premonstratensian Education in the Czech Territory in the 19th Century This specific study contributes to the knowledge of the Order in our territory in the course of the 19th century and it explores the activity of the Premonstratensian in the schools established by them. The topic is approached in the broader context of the education of the examined era. The study explains the characteristics of the schooling and education organisation system as well, focusing on the specific problematic of religious schooling and education from various points of view. As part of the argument, the Order of Canons Regular of Prémontré is described and an evaluation of its educational activities in the course of all the history of the Order is provided. A significant part of the study is dedicated to the Strahov Abbey and its educational facilities, especially to the schools that were restored or undertaken by the Order in the researched period. The conclusive part characterises other schools run by orders in the territories of Bohemia and Moravia.
Teaching the subject of religion at the 1st stage of church elementary school through the eyes of pupils

The diploma thesis deals with the religious education at the church elementary school in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part describes the church elementary school, its history and its relation to the Framework Education Program for the Elementary Education and to the official documents and then it describes the religious education itself from the perspective of the aims and contents. The next part describes the participants of the religious education - the teachers of religious education and the characteristics of the children in the 4th and 5th grade in terms of developmental psychology. The final chapter of the theoretical part is dedicated to the researches that were carried out in the church elementary schools and in the religious education. The practical part of my diploma thesis is devoted to the research, which was carried out by means of questionnaire method. The aim of the practical part was to find how pupils of the 4th and 5th grades at the church elementary school in Prague view the subject of religious education using the questionnaire construction. The results of the research show that the pupils have mostly a positive relationship toward the subject. They consider it as a rather relaxing and amusing subject. In their eyes, the subject is connected to the faith and its symbols....
Religious dimension in the culture of the Czech schools

The thesis deals with the religious dimension of life at Czech secularized school. In its theoretical part, using the theoretical sources, it tries to give some information about different conceptions of religion, about the psychology and sociology´s point of view, about the personality of the teacher and school culture as well and shortly about the development of our school system in the history of the Czech Republic. In its practical part it tries to answer the question about the existence of the religious dimension of life at particular Czech school with the research and its analysis.
Religious education of preschool children

Bachelor thesis of Religious education of preschool children is divided into four parts. The first chapter defines the participant of this education, focuses on religious education from the perspective of religious documents and its Division into three components (religious education in the family, the school and the Church). The second part discusses the different methods, methodologies and other didactic material, including persons with katechety pre- school children works. Part of the work is a survey of the Catholic families and Church kindergartens, which is evaluated in the third chapter. The last part consists of a summary of the theoretical possibilities, practical implementation of specific recommendations for the design and upgrade of religious education for preschool children. The aim of the thesis is to point out the options that today's parents and educators in this area, and how to use them, or why not. And overall, how is the theory connected with the practice of what is lacking in practice.
DVD "In the Footsteps of Apostle Paul" as a tool in teaching religion

Diploma thesis DVD "In the Footsteps of Apostle Paul" as a didactic tool in teaching religion in secondary schools. The first part introduces the basic approach to teaching religion in terms of its differences from catechesis. There is also outlined several pedagogical objectives that can follow the teaching of Christianity, and a description of the methodological approach to the evaluation of documentary film as a teaching aid. In the second chapter, the analysis and synthesis document the intellectual content of each chapter, which is the basis for the practical part. The practical part includes an outline of questions for pupils. Use these questions students have to look at the effect Vol. Paul in the individual chapters of the documentary film from the perspective of God's plan of salvation, existential and ethical issues, and possibly also from the perspective of the social issues that are topical even today and which solutions inspired documents. The questions are formulated so that the individual has encouraged the pupils to study the biblical text, he served to critical reflection and led to active discussions. The whole practical part aims to contribute to the use of active teaching methods.
