Analysis of prices in the construction industry in recent years
Papoušek, Lukáš ; Hanák, Tomáš (referee) ; Tuscher, Martin (advisor)
The Bachelor's thesis deals with the analysis of trends in the prices of apartments, houses, and construction materials in the Czech Republic over the past ten years. This analysis examines how macroeconomic conditions, legislative changes, and significant economic events have influenced these prices, thereby providing a deeper understanding of the dynamics and dependencies in the construction sector. The results of the analysis provide a deeper understanding of the dynamics and dependencies of prices in various areas of construction and can serve as a valuable basis for the strategic decision-making of construction companies, developers, investors, political and economic decision-makers. The thesis thus contributes to a broader understanding of price trends in construction and their impact on the overall economy.

Diagnostics and proposal to eliminate thermal bridges buildings
Bravenec, David ; Janík, Zdeněk (referee) ; Kalousek, Miloš (advisor)
This thesis presents a comparison of building materials for vertical bearing structures of buildings, thermal insulation materials and mutual combination of structural materials and insulators. Furthermore, there are possibilities for solving the most common insulation thermal bridges construction. The paper evaluated the pros and cons of different combinations of building materials. Teplo and Area programs were used for the calculations.

Computational structural assessment of buildings in terms of energy performance
Kaplan, Václav ; TROJAN,, Karel (referee) ; Šťastník, Stanislav (advisor)
This thesis deals with the computational comparison of the energy performance of buildings of various construction materials. The work aims at assessing the building as a thermal system. The theoretical part describes the methods for calculating the energy performance of buildings. The experimental part of the work focuses on quantifying the heat consumption of specific buildings in terms of thermal stability and it is later compared with the results calculated in accordance with the applicable technical standards.

Study of passive stabilisation of building materials temperature
Šebek, Jan ; Pavlík,, Zbyšek (referee) ; Zmeškal, Oldřich (advisor)
The topic of presented master’s thesis was study of passive stabilization of building materials temperature. The main goal of this thesis was measuring and characterization of the thermal properties of building materials, which are used to PCM technology. PCM technology is based on utilization of latent heat of phase change. At the beginning of this thesis it was needed to define physical principle of phase change, then the most usable PCM chemicals (e.g. paraffin, Glauber’s salt, hexahydrate calcium chloride) and their basic physical properties (especially thermo-physical), background research of building materials with PCM and also the methods of thermo-physical properties measurement. It was also needed to characterize measured building materials and define theirs thermal parameters; because the values of thermal parameters of measured samples were compared to these values. In the experimental part of my thesis are measurements of material thermal analysis, which are methods, where the properties of materials are studied as they change with temperature. I had used to differential scanning calorimetry, transient pulse method and other methods, which are usable for thermo-physical properties measuring and characterization. I have been much interested in properties of measured material, which were specific heat capacity, temperature diffusivity, heat conductivity and phase change temperature (the melting point of PCM). At the end of my thesis the findings of all methods were finally summarized, compared and commented.

Modern trends in the building construction
PROBOŠTOVÁ, Tereza
This bachelor thesis on "Modern Trends in Construction" deals with an overview of building materials that are most commonly used in the construction industry in the 21st century, especially for houses. These include thermal insulation, waterproofing, jointing materials, multi-purpose materials, suitable materials for vertical and horizontal structures, roofing and flooring materials. The work in each chapter is divided according to the building structures concerned. Both traditional and modern materials are covered. The work explains the chemical composition, manufacture and application of modern building materials. Their mechanical and physical properties and their benefits and limitations are also discussed. An extensive review of building materials is presented in the form of a literature search. Part of the extensive work is to find possible modern building materials that could be used to construct the family house "Vertigo". The practical part focuses on the creation of a specimen book containing selected building materials in the field of waterproofing, thermal insulation materials, wall elements, cladding, roofing, multi-purpose materials and the respective bonding of the given samples. The main contribution of this work is that it can serve as a supporting text for students, of certain engineering disciplines involving building materials.

Changes in the properties of cement-bonded particleboards due to fluctuations in atmospheric humidity
Vasas, Silvestr ; Vacula, Miroslav (referee) ; Bydžovský, Jiří (advisor)
The work is focused on changing dimensional, volume, weight and mechanical properties of cement bonded particleboards due to fluctuations in the humidity of the surrounding environment. Part of the work is a search of scientific literature focused on the possible modification of organic materials used as fillers in cement bonded matrices, as well as cement bonded composites. Since wood is used as a filler, which is very susceptible to moisture, it is important to treat it – thermally, chemically. In the practical part, various recipes of cement bonded particleboards were inspired by previous research are designed and tested. The laboratory assessment of changes in the properties of cement bonded particleboards due to relative humidity demonstrated compliance with the theoretical foundations, as a result of the thesis, suitable recipes for the production of cement bonded particleboards including their verification were defined.
