Potential of internet selling of food to customers of consumer co-operatives

The aim of this thesis was to evaluate the potential interest of customers of the shops of consumer co-operatives in buying food via the Internet. Based on the results of marketing research, the aim was then to propose recommendations for a selected consumer co-operative Jednota, which operates in the district of České Budějovice, including Terno and Trefa stores. All the suggestions presented in the practical part are designed to introduce and launch an online supermarket Jednota in the district of České Budějovice.

From the Wold of Business to the World of Planned Distribution A Look into the Development of Czech Consumer Cooperatives: 1945 - 1956 (Ústí nad Labem Region) The dissertation deals with changes in the content, forms and roles of the Czech consumer co- operatives in the years 1945 - 1956. This issue is a theme in four surveyed areas (territorially - organizational structure, the role of co-operatives in the Czechoslovak economy, relations with the Communist Party, economic activity of co-operatives). These are prerequisites of the transformation of consumer cooperatives from autonomous business entities in the subordinate sections of the state-organized distribution. The dissertation analyzes this transformation in its various stages and puts it into a broader context of Sovietisation, creation of a system of centrally planned economy and the economic, social and political development of Czechoslovakia during the researched period. Needs and expectations of consumer co-operative's customers

The master thesis deals with needs and expectations of consumer co-operative´s customers in the Tábor. The main aim is to find out degree of satisfaction of customers of the co-operative´s customers in the visited store and to determine their expectations from the point of view of the development of the supply of goods and services. The secondary aim is to find out if customer has enough stores at the place of his residence. Then to find out if the reason of person which does not buy here is the lack of COOP stores at the place of his residence. The diploma thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part is carried out by the external sources. It describes the terms of customer behaviour, customer´s satisfaction or cooperative and consumer cooperatives. The second part is the practical part. In this section a marketing research is realized. The data are assemble by the questionnaire survey. After that, recommendations are suggested for increase satisfaction of the consumers and co-operative´s customers.

Relation between Co-operatives and Trade Unions

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to assess the current status of consumer cooperative in relation to the trade union. Furthermore, to establish the importance of the trade union within the cooperative, organization of the trade unions and cooperative involved in its structure, identification of the areas with the key role of the trade union (labour relations etc.) and the position of the trade union in the cooperative in comparison to the situation in multinational chains.

Těžištěm práce je finanční analýza zvoleného spotřebního družstva za roky 2000-2004, hodnocení finančního zdraví podniku na základě vertikální, horizontální, poměrové analýzy a bonitního modelu. Práce se dále zaměřuje na aktuální problémy souvisejícími s udržením pozice spotřebních družstev na maloobchodním trhu s ohledem na silné konkurenční prostředí v podmínkách ČR, strategii spotřebních družstev v ČR, porovnání se situací ve vybraných zemích a v neposlední řadě přihlíží k historickému kontextu vzniku a vývoje družstevnictví na našem území.
