Concurrent infractions and their sentencing Abstract As the title of the thesis suggests, this work is concerned with the concurrence of administrative infractions and how it is penalized. This work aims to be a complex introduction into these issues and an analysis of all related aspects, in terms of both substantive and procedural law. A critical review of current legislation is also part of the analysis and the insufficiencies in the current system are identified. The thesis can be divided into two main sections: the first section is concerned with an analysis of concurrence itself while the second section analyses the penalization of such concurrences, concretely it explores the specifics of imposing penalties and of the infraction proceedings themselves. The first part of the thesis is concerned with the relationship of the administrative infractions law and the criminal law, and it explains why the judicial conclusions of the criminal law and its associated literature are often applicable to administrative infraction cases as well. In the second part, a discussion of the concurrence itself is presented together with a definition of act, which is a crucial definition for proper discussion of concurrence. The imposition of penalties on the concurrence of criminal offenses

The thesis deals with the institute of concurrence of of criminal offenses, at the beginning it defines basic terms such as deed, multiplicity of crime and the concept of concurrence itself. It also deals with the distinction between concurrence of crimes from recidivism and continuation of criminal offenses. Furthermore, the thesis focuses on the impact of concurrence of crimes on the guilt of the offender and the imposition of punishment. The thesis discusses the principles of the imposition of punishment of concurrence of criminal offenses, including the treatise on cumulative punishment and aggregate punishment, and again the differences from punishment of recidivism and continuation of criminal offenses are defined. Another part of the thesis examines reasons for exclusion of concurrence of criminal aktivity. The significant part of thesis is also comparison between Czech legal regulation of the concurrence of the crimes and the Slovak and Russian legal regulation. Emergencies related with using narcotic and psychotropic substances in South Bohemian Region

I chose the topic "Emergencies related with using narcotic and psychotropic substances in South Bohemian Region" for my bachelor thesis. These events are extraordinarily dangerous and overall abuse drugs threatens the healthy development of the whole society. The main objective of empirical quantitative research was descriptively chart development trend of emergencies related with using narcotic and psychotropic substances in South Bohemian Region. Availability of literature to the topic was considerably limited. In the theoretical part I focused on theoretical background, basic concepts regarding with emergencies related with using narcotic and psychotropic substances. Further I wrote overview about the most famous abused drugs and their classification. At the end of this part I mention laws and regulations regarding drugs. The practical part consists of empirical quantitative research whose the main objective was descriptively chart development trend of emergencies related with using narcotic and psychotropic substances in South Bohemian Region. For the method I chose content analysis of the text which I made in a quantitative way. By determining statistical population of texts I analyzed official documents - public available official statistical data of criminality of Police of the Czech Republic and data provided of Police Presidium of the Czech Republic, Department of Computer Science and Information Technology Operation. The research survey in the term of 5 years - 2010 - 2015 I answered on a research problem, defined by using research questions. I concluded that some emergencies are trully committed under the influence of narcotics and psychotropic substances. The research demonstrated upward developmental trend of emergencies committed under the influence of narcotics and psychotropic substances. Finally I summarize the results of bachelor thesis and I recommend its use in practice.
