Manufacturing of kitchen sink
Vágner, Lukáš ; Peterková, Eva (referee) ; Jopek, Miroslav (advisor)
The project deals with the design of production of the kitchen sink made of chromium-nickel austenitic steel 1.4301. Material thickness of the sink is 1 mm. The annual production series is 30,000 pieces. After considering the size of the produced series, a combination of shearing and deep drawing was chosen as the production technology. Shearing of the circular shape was combined with the execution of both draws into one production tool. For this design, the necessary calculations were performed along with verification by simulations in the PAM-STAMP program. The tool is clamped in a hydraulic press PO 400, which has all the necessary parameters. The coil blank is guided through the unwinding and straightening device Compact Line GLK3-1000. The selling price of one sink was set at CZK 1,300. Production becomes profitable after producing 7540 sinks.
Design production of sink
Pecha, Oldřich ; Dvořák, Milan (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
Thesis submits concept of the sink fabrication technology where circular sink is made from rustproof austenitic steel 1.4301 (X5CrNi 18-10) using technology of conventional deep drawing without reducing wall’s thickness. Hydraulic press YL32 - 400 with nominal force 400 kN has been chosen as the production machine. Drawing tool with holder was designed to be used for this technology and its drawing documentation had been enclosed in this thesis. Size of the production series was set for 20 000 products annually. Control simulation of the drawing process has proven that designed component can be made and that computations are correct. Economic and technological estimation was performed which resulted in price being set for 555 czech crowns per piece. After manufacturing first 7 447 products the manufacturing process will become economically profitable.

Diploma thesis develops comprehensive documentation of the new building construction of residential house on the level of the implementation of the project construction. Proposal emphasizes layout of linked to ensure the technical design, structural, fire safety, protection against noise, energy saving, safety in use. Work is performed in an electronic format using AutoCAD and Microsoft Word (PDF Creator).
Sanitary Ceramics
Foret, Martin ; Kolařík, Pavel (referee) ; Zdařil, Zdeněk (advisor)
My thesis is a presentation of Jika Laufen for the international exhibition Expo 2015 in Milan. The work consists of designing and installing sinks into the exposure so that they are in a uniform manner. I designed the concept of the well for several reasons: the bathroom is an intimate space where it should be emphasized emotion , atmosphere and feelings. It is a space where a person should relax. The second aspect is that the ceramic has an organic origin, came from the ground and through the fire becomes very durable and solid. A no less important is the third aspect, exist on the context. Expo is an international exhibition and therefore the presentation of this forest exposure does not represent a Czech company, but also a Czech environment, where you will find beautiful nature and sources of known rivers. My concept is based on emotion and contrast materials. Delicate white ceramics have planted in a sharp stone and dark green leafy moss, creating a contrast full voltage . The exhibition of this type should not be missed even modern technology. That is my proposal represented feeler drain, which is around the perimeter of the sink hidden under the edge so as not to disturb the perception of the whole.
Interpersonal Conflicts and Proposals to Improve Working Conditions
Vejnarová, Eliška ; Klepáček, Antonín (referee) ; Pokorný, Jiří (advisor)
In my work, I will focus on interpersonal conflict management and ways to prevent them. A description of how to ideally act in conflict situations and achieve the best possible solution to the "right" way.
Production of a corner sink
Soldán, Josef ; Dvořák, Milan (referee) ; Císařová, Michaela (advisor)
This diploma thesis if focused on the production of a corner sink from stainless steel sheet 1.4301. Based on analysis of manufacturing possibilities the best solution is to produce corner sink by a conventional tool in serval operations, which was the main focus of theoretical part of this thesis. In addition, this choose is in conform with assignment of this diploma thesis. Practical part of this thesis was focused on check of technologicity followed with design of suitable shape of sheet for deep drawing. Further calculation of amount of required draws in specific drawing operations, calculation of drawing forces and works and calculation of parameters of drawing tool. These calculations were checked by numerical simulation which discovered possible defects whereupon the shape of corner sink was modified in order to limit these defects. Based on these calculations the universal drawing tool was designed. In the ending of this thesis the techno-economic evaluation was made which confirmed the economic advantage of this universality.
Production concept of sink
Bahula, Jan ; Jopek, Miroslav (referee) ; Císařová, Michaela (advisor)
The thesis presents a design for manufacturing a rotary kitchen sink made of a stainless austenitic steel 17 240 with a thickness of 0.8 mm with a production series of 20 000 pieces per year. Based on the analysis of manufacturing variants and necessary calculations, deep drawing without a reduction in the thickness was selected to three operations including calibration. A hydraulic press PO 250 from Dieffenbacher was chosen based on the required forces and available rams. The drawing process was checked using numerical simulations and tools were designed for each operation using a drawing ram, a bottom blank holder, and an upper ejector. In the design of drawing tools, normalised components or easily manufacturable parts were preferred.

The role of trehalose in mycorrhizal associations
Šoch, Jan ; Ponert, Jan (advisor) ; Hála, Michal (referee)
Mycorrhizal symbiosis is a widely spread phenomenon in nature. A translocation of nutrients occurs between symbionts with disaccharide trehalose playing a key role in the process. However, this saccharide fulfils many important roles in metabolism of fungi and plants. Fungi use trehalose mainly as storage and transport saccharide. On the other hand, trehalose occurs in extremely low amounts in plants where it acts as a signal molecule. Thus it is likely that the saccharide could be used by the fungus to manipulate plant metabolism on a physical interface between symbionts. Trehalose has a similar function in many parasitic interactions. In most cases of mycorrhizal associations trehalose synthesis creates a carbon sink in mycelium which leads to saccharide transfer from the host plant to the fungus. Completely different situation occurs in the types of mycorrhizal symbiosis, where saccharides are translocated from a fungus to a plant. Some plants can utilize trehalose effectively as a sole source of energy. Consequently, the question raises - could such plants gain fungal trehalose on purpose as a source of energy and carbon? This review aims to assess and discuss the mentioned possibilities considering available literature. Key words: mycorrhiza, orchids, parazitism, saccharides, sink, symbiosis,...
Carbon sequestration by forest ecosystems in canging climate.
Hlaváčková, Lucie ; Lhotáková, Zuzana (advisor) ; Urban, Otmar (referee)
The global carbon cycle is in the focus of the scientists' interest, because understanding carbon sinks and their relationships can show the solutions of problems related with increasing CO2 concentration in the atmosphere in the future. I focused on the role of forests ecosystems in this carbon cycle. All forests cover almost one third of the Earth's land area. By photosynthesis they bind big part of atmospheric carbon to their biomass. Sink strength of forest can differ according to the type of biome, forest stand age and actual climatic conditions. Forest biomes can be generally divided according to the latitude to three groups: tropical forest biomes, temperate forests and boreal forests. The size of carbon stock decreases in this order. Other parameters, such as net primary production and respiration differ in dependence on the particular ecosystem. Tropical rain forests represent great carbon stock, but their deforestation causes massive C emissions back to the atmosphere. Boreal forests aren't considered as important carbon sink, but they influence local climate. Some speculations can also appear about the old forests. It is possible to find authors, who claims, that old forests are no more carbon sinks, so that their carbon balance is neutral. Many surveys prove that they bind less carbon...
