Respiratory rate measurement
Maršálková, Leona ; Harabiš, Vratislav (referee) ; Chmelař, Milan (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with possible ways of measuring respiratory rate. It focuses on the description of the structure of device used to measure respiratory rate, including sensors, which are used for this purpose. In conclusion of theoretical part is mentioned the possibility of using respiratory rate measurement in medicine. This thesis also contains a description of respiratory rate sensor design using a thermistor sensor and implementation of virtual meter respiratory rate in LabView. The last part of this thesis deals with the evaluation results and practical application of this sensor.
Mobil system for monitoring of sports activity
Maleňák, Filip ; Čížek, Martin (referee) ; Rozman, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this master’s thesis is to analyse methods that are used for monitoring athlete’s activities and a description of current technical solutions with a focus on heart rate and respiratory rate monitoring. The presented solution shows the possibilities of using available open source SW and HW technologies and their implementation in the design of an integrated tool for monitoring sports activities with the iOS operating system.
Indoor Detection of People Based on Vital Sign Sensing
Breathing Rate Estimation from the Electrocardiogram and Photoplethysmogram
Janáková, Jaroslava ; Smital, Lukáš (referee) ; Kozumplík, Jiří (advisor)
The master thesis deals with the issue of gaining the respiratory rate from ECG and PPG signals, which are not only in clinical practice widely used measurable signals. The theoretical part of the work outlines the issue of obtaining a breath curve from these signals. The practical part of the work is focused on the implementation of five selected methods and their final evaluation and comparison.
Multifunctional monitoring belt
Dítě, Martin ; Milek, Jakub (referee) ; Harabiš, Vratislav (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to develop a wireless monitoring belt based on literature review. The belt will be capable of scanning heart rate, respiratory rate, body temperature, motion, position, and falling of the user. Another aim is to also design a software for data reception and analysis focusing on pulse, respiratory rate, and temperature alarms.
Breathing Rate Estimation from the Photoplethysmogram
Petrík, Jakub ; Králík, Martin (referee) ; Kozumplík, Jiří (advisor)
The main topic of this bachelor thesis are methods for breathing rate estimations from photopletysmographic signals. In the theoretical part of the thesis we find a biref review of methods that are used for breathing rate estimation. These methods are than tested and their performance is evaluated on two pubilc databases BIDMC and CapnoBase. These databases also contain reference values of respiratory rate.
Respiratory Rate Estimation From Ecg And Ppg Signals Via Continuouswavelet Transfor
Sikorova, Pavlina
In this paper, a novel approach to estimate the respiratory rate from ECG and PPG signalsis proposed. The respiration signal is extracted from both signals using the continuous wavelettransform and the rate is estimated in time as well as frequency domain. Subsequent fusion of differentapproaches provides the result more robust. Designed algorithm predicts the breathing frequencywith the mean absolute error of 0.96 breaths per minute.
