Study of plasma activated water influence on soil microorganisms

The bachelor thesis deals with the effects of plasma activated water on microorganisms found in the brown earth sample. The theoretical part is divided into two parts. The first part focuses on the analysis of soil and microorganisms living in it. The second part deals with the general properties of plasma and the formation of plasma-activated water. In the experimental part of this work, plasma-activated water was applied to the leachate of soil microorganisms and also directly to a selected soil sample in various concentrations. Subsequently the effect on the viability of soil microorganisms and the composition of soil microorganisms was observed. Based on the results from the practical part, it was found that plasma-activated water has no significant positive or negative effect on soil microorganisms. For this reason, it will be necessary to focus on specific types of microorganisms in further research.
The Study of Transient Species and Precursors of Biomolecules using Spectroscopic Techniques

The presented thesis is focused on a spectroscopic study of unstable radicals, ions and molecules in a positive column glow discharge and laser plasma. The research of these fragments is supplemented by a study of biomolecules formation from these species and influence of catalysts. Molecular dynamics of radicals, ions and unstable molecules has been studied using a time resolved Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. Time resolved spectra of CH4, HCONH2, BrCN, CH3CN, CF3Br, (CF3)2CHBr positive column glow discharges have been measured and simulated using a kinetic model including molecular dynamics, collisions and chemical and radiation transfer processes. The model has been compared with our experimental results and time resolved spectra were described in details. Fit to a complex reaction mechanism has been used to estimate a rate constant of a HCN conversion to HNC by a collision with H radical. The study of precursors of biomolecules was focused on chemical consequences of a laser induced dielectric breakdown in formamide vapor and gaseous carbon monooxide with 18 O labeled water. Politization of Slavia football fans

My bachelor thesis is focused on the topic of policitization of football fans. The subject of my research were fans of Slavia Prague football club, better known as Tribuna Sever (North Stand). The main goal of the research is to verify, If there is an ongoing trasformation of the group of fans, from apolitical organization into the unit with certain political view. First of all, the thesis offers the general view of the issue. After that it presents connection between the fans and politics, including some examples from the world and from The Czech republic as well. As I mentioned, the subject of the research was Tribuna Sever, which is an active core of fans. So the goal was not to find out the global poltical view of all the fans of Slavia Prague, but to reveal, if there is an existing political orientation in this particular organization. That is the reason why the practical research was focused on leaders of this group of fans.
New Thermal and Oxidative Radical Cyclization Methodology and Application to the Total Synthesis of Bridged Diketopiperazine Alkaloids

This thesis describes the development of new thermal and oxidative radical cyclization methodologies and their application to the total syntheses of alkaloids, particularly to bridged diketopiperazine (DKP) alkaloids. A practical solvent free approach to diverse DKPs and quinazolines is described. The methodology proceeds by thermal silica gel mediated deprotection of the Boc protecting group and intramolecular condensation of the resulting free dipeptides and tripeptides. It was applied to the total syntheses of alkaloids glyantrypine and ardeemin. A major part of the thesis concerns with the discovery and applications of novel diketopiperazine derived alkoxyamines. Their propensity to undergo facile thermal C-O bond homolysis to generate captodative DKP radicals and persistent TEMPO radical allowed using them as radical surrogates. The methodology takes advantage of the persistent radical effect (PRE). The methodology based on PRE was applied in an asymmetric approach to the alkaloid asperparaline C. An asymmetric synthesis of a very advanced precursor to asperparaline C, 8- oxoasperparaline C, was accomplished in 11 steps and 15% overall yield. Division in the social-democratic movement in Austria-Hungary in the 80s in the 19th century

This bachelor thesis focuses on the division in the social-democratic movement in Austria- Hungary in the '80s of the 19th century. The programmatic documents of the party are analyzed from the point of view of controversial points of the division. The workers movement was split into groups of moderates and radicals. These groups polemized about tactics, which would lead to the achievement of goals of proletariat. The goals were the same for both groups, change to classless society and collectivization of production. There are programmatic documents putting an end to the division examined as well. First of they are all looked into from the points of view, whether they are closer connected with perspectives of moderates or radicals.
