Cooperation of a Czech Teacher With an English Native Speaker Teacher in a Bilingual School

The diploma thesis concentrates on characteristics of cooperation between czech and english speaking teachers in bilingual classes. The aim of this thesis is to explore the cooperation at elementary school and to find out the advantages and disadvantages of the collaboration between the two. The theoretical part of this work is based on the literature and it summarizes the main characteristic of this problém. The practical part is an outcome of the qualitative research. Case study focuses on detailed describtion of the bilingual programme backround gained by the author's personal experience. The choosen methods of the reaserch are intviews with bilingual programme teachers and observations of a native speaking teacher. The outcome of the thesis is analysis of data gained from the intrview and observing. On the based of the action research the thesis states the recommendations to rise the efectivity of the bilingual teacher's collaboration. Cooperation between a primary teacher and a school special education teacher

This Diploma Thesis is work dealing with the cooperation between a primary teacher and a school special education teacher within the inclusive education. The Thesis is divided in two parts: the theoretical part and the practical part - the research. The theoretical part is concerned with the current advisory system in the education field in the Czech Republic from the perspective of inclusive education. It is also focused on the relationships and cooperation of the school special education teacher within the school. The practical part is conceived as the qualitative research dealing with the cooperation between the primary teacher and the school special education teacher works. Moreover, there are the advantages and disadvantages of this cooperation mentioned. The research shows that the cooperation between the primary school teacher and the school special education teacher is beneficial as it helps to integrate pupils with the special educational needs into the standard classroom. Assessing a teacher’s competence for implementation of inquiry based mathematics education from a discussion of open geometrical situations

The study is focused on the possibility to assess and develop primary teachers’ abilities to implement some principles of inquiry based mathematics education into their teaching practice. The requirements on a primary teacher and their competence are assessed through a joint discussion of open geometrical situations presented through Concept Cartoons. Teachers’ written comments and notes and verbal statements expressed in the discussion of four geometrical problems were analysed and presented.
