Genetic Algorithms Based Game in Unity
Bábek, Radomír ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Vlnas, Michal (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the areas of game development and genetic algorithms. It describes the design and implementation of the game PlantEVO, which features special fighting plants. The player's task is to understand the workings of the genetic algorithm and to use it as efficiently as possible in breeding his plants. After then the strength of his plants is tested in online battles against other players. The battles are designed in a turn-based strategy combat style. The game uses a client-server architecture. The client is programmed in the Unity game engine, the server uses the REST API architecture.
Detection of aromatic compounds in plants
Tilešová, Kristína ; Zlámalová Gargošová, Helena (referee) ; Krčma, František (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on the detection of aromatic compounds in plants. Selected plant was Celery (Apium graveolens). In the theoretical part, methods for the volatile substances analysis were reviewed. In the experimental part, celery sample was converted from solid to liquid form and then analyzed using proton-transfer-reaction time-of-flight mass spectrometry (PTR-TOF-MS) and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC/MS). Aromatic compounds with a stronger signal were selected using PTR-TOF-MS, which were analyzed and identified using GC/MS. Monoterpenes represented the main group of compounds in celery seed essential oil, the most important is D-Limonene. Celery also contains phthalides, aldehydes, alcohols, esters. Using a combination of PTR-TOF-MS and GC/MS was obtained the quantitative and qualitative composition of celery essential oil.
Analýza vývoje rostlin pomocí umělé inteligence
Hežel, Hugo ; Juránková, Markéta (referee) ; Bažout, David (advisor)
This paper discusses the issues of plant growth monitoring, artificial neural networks, convolutional neural networks and also pays attention to their construction. We presented the design of two architecturally different convolutional neural network models for plant growth recognition. We tested and compared these models, and the model with the more complex architecture yielded only slightly better results than the model with the minimalist architecture.
Educational Application for Learning about Plants
Nedělová, Markéta ; Tesařová, Alena (referee) ; Hynek, Jiří (advisor)
This work focuses on the design and implementation of an interactive educational application that could help students master the learning of plant species through elements of gamification. To address this problem, a progressive web application was designed and implemented. This application was created in response to the requirements and needs identified during cooperation with the Primary School in Olešnice. It allows students to practice and expand their knowledge of plants through quizzes.
Corpus, Corporeality, Carnality
Lienerová, Lucie ; Čech,, Viktor (referee) ; Fexová, Patricie (advisor)
The subject of the diploma thesis is corpus, corporeality and carnality inspired by Ovid's Metamorphoses. The practical outcome is a series of paintings, drawings and objects thematizing the particular parts of the transformation of human, object and environment into individual organic forms. The transformation of the human being itself is seen as a painful process, but one that also allows for liberation from much more extensive physical and psychological suffering. The motifs of transformation are shaped and documented in a painterly way on the artist's close person and then on the environment and objects that surround this person.
Didactic games on the topic of plants in primary school teaching
BÁROVÁ, Lucie
The aim of the diploma thesis was to create a set of didactic games on the topic of plants suitable for teaching children at the first grade of primary school. The games were created to acquire new knowledge and deepen the already acquired curriculum. The games are focused on the subject matter of plants and are created in accordance with the curriculum documents. The designed games can be implemented in nature, in the classroom and in the school garden. Some of the proposed games have been verified in practice at a primary school in the South Bohemian Region.
Controlling and visualization of operational parameters of growth chambers
Baudyš, Adam ; Sumec, Stanislav (referee) ; Škoda, Jan (advisor)
In the thesis I outlined principles and ways of physical values regulation with the goal of the most efficient cultivation of the plants. Pursuant to identified facts I chose and programmed way of growth cabinet control in PLC AMiNi2DS. To access relevant data and possibilities of adjustment I also created SCADA and HMI. In conclusion I created manual for operating the device and software for acquainted people.
Characterization of efficiency of isolation procedures for fragrances from plants
Stávková, Markéta ; Mravcová, Ludmila (referee) ; Čáslavský, Josef (advisor)
The diploma thesis will be focuses on the isolation of fragrances of natural origin by steam vapor distillation, ultrasonic extraction, microwave extraction and pressure solvent extraction. The extracts were characterized by GCxGC/TOF-MS. To study the surface structure of the leaf by SEM, a sample of the medulla medical was selected. Photos were taken before and after extraction.
