Influence of Currency Reform on Czechoslovak Economy in the Fifties of the 20th Century

Currency reform performed at june 1953 represented important landmark in economic and social development of Czechoslovak republic. In this thesis is elaborated developement of these areas especially by form of comparison and description, whose goal is to point out to changing development of mentioned areas in the course of the fifties. The thesis is divided into three main chapters, that solve the issue chronologically starting on year 1948 to the performance of the reform, thereafter the reform itself is solved and subseqvently developement is elaborated from 1953 to the end of the decade. Result shows hard impact of the reform on inhabitants and simultaneously remediation of economy, that enabled higher growth of standard of living conditioned by realization of less ideologically radical approaches in developement of economy.
