Di Mercurio, Filippo ; Kinkorová, Ivana (advisor) ; Hráský, Pavel (referee)
Title: Muscle imbalances in fitness Objectives: The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to compile a compensatory program for their correction, which is based on the research of the muscle imbalances. Methods: The source of data for the theoretical and research part of the work is information obtained from scientific internet sources, articles, and specialized literature. In the second part, where the compensatory plan is created, the basis was literature focused on muscle imbalances and compensatory exercises, or my own knowledge. Results: From the available sources, it was found that the most affected areas in the general population are the shoulders, neck and lumbar region. In the training and bodybuilders group, are mainly impacted the axioscapular muscles and again the lumbar part of the back, but sometimes also the thoracic area. Creation and verification of methodical material using overball exercise aid for children of younger school age
MARKOVÁ, Kateřina
The diploma thesis verifies the influence of compensatory exercise using a mini exercise ball (overball). It is focused on the muscular system of middle childhood (8-11). The diploma thesis consists of a theoretical and practical part. A collection of compensational exercises consisting of 30 parts was build based on results from the initial examination of tested participants. The examination of the muscular system was accomplished by several standardized tests (evaluation of body composition by Lomíček, Mathias test, Adams test, an examination of the muscular stereotypes. A compensatory exercise was done after the examination once a week for eight weeks as a group exercise under a professional supervisor. When the examination was over a final evaluation was done, which was identical to the initial testing. As a conclusion, the effect of compensatory exercise was completed. Based on the application of provided and verified methodological material a certain change was achieved. The best improvement was achieved during the examination of the muscular stereotypes. Three of the tested participants noticed an improvement, none of them noticed a worsening. The least improvement was recorded by Adams test, only one tested participant improved, others without any change. In some cases, there were individual changes. In particular areas, there were changes of individual character, nevertheless, an evaluation of the group was identical to the initial testing. A benefit of this thesis is to make use of a mini exercise ball (overball) to make the exercise and positive influence of the exercise more effective on the muscular system not only for middle childhood.

Title of diploma thesis: Chaining of the musculoskeletal disorders from various viewpoints in physiotherapy Objective: The purpose of this thesis is to research available literary sources concerning the meaning of the term chaining of the musculoskeletal disorders in the field of physiotherapy and describing possible mechanisms of this phenomena. In addition, the thesis researchs literary resources showing demonstrations of various concepts and authors that work with this topic, inculding examples of various chains. Methods: This diploma thesis has descriptively-analytical character. It is structured in the form of literary research. Results: On the basis of the researched literary sources, the thesis explains the meaning of the term chaining of musculoskeletal disorders in physiotherapy. Based on the meaning, we showed various possible mechanisms of this phenomena. Subsequently, we found various demonstrations of works of various concepts and authors in this field including examples of various chain structures. Title of diploma thesis: Chaining of the musculoskeletal disorders from various viewpoints in physiotherapy Objective: The purpouse of this thesis is to research available literary sources describing the possible mechanisms of chaining of musculoskeletal disorders from various viewpoints in physiotherapy. Methods: This diploma thesis has descriptively-analytical character. It is structured in the form of literary research. Results: On the basis of the researched literary sources, the thesis shows the possible mechanisms of chaining of musculoskeletal disorders. The mechanisms are as follows: Reactions of movement system to postural instability, relations of body segments in closed kinetic chains, compensations of joint blockades in the spine, influence of tensile forces in fascial system, rebuilding of motor stereotypes due to dysfunction of one of their elements, activation of muscles together with motor stereotype, which don't contribute to its function, influence of one stabilization synergy on the function of the other during punctum fixum stabilization, relations between agonistic and antagonistic muscles, relations between tonic and phasic muscles, reflex changes in one spinal segment (or adjacent segments) due to nociceptive irritation, protective activity of muscles (with possibility of...
