Detached house
Stoklas, Vojtěch ; Bečkovský, David (referee) ; Nespěšný, Ondřej (advisor)
The topic of the bachelor's thesis is the preparation of project documentation for the construction of a family house in Hustopeče nad Bečvou. The structure is designed as a detached, two-story, non-basement house with nearly zero energy consumption, intended for individual living for a family of four. The rectangular floor plan is situated in the center of the building plot and respects the character of the surrounding development. The house is designed on strip foundations made of plain concrete, supplemented with permanent formwork blocks and a base slab. The vertical load-bearing and non-load-bearing structures will be made of calcium-silicate blocks. The horizontal load-bearing elements consist of a monolithic reinforced concrete ceiling slab and a ring beam. Above the second floor is a sloped load-bearing roof structure – a wooden truss. The family house is insulated using an external thermal insulation composite system. The layout of the house corresponds to 4+KK. On the second floor, there is a master bedroom along with two children's rooms, a study, a corridor, a bathroom, a toilet, and an occasional bedroom. The master bedroom also includes a dressing room. On the first floor, besides the corridor, bathroom, toilet, and utility room, there is a living room connected to the dining area and kitchen. A pantry is located under the staircase connecting the two floors. The entrance hall connects the living space with an attached garage, which can hold up to two cars.
Detached house in Boleradicích
Pospíšilová, Kateřina ; Jelínek, Petr (referee) ; Dohnal, Jakub (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is to design a nearly zero energy detached house for a family of four. The first part of the thesis is architectural and structural design, including fire safety solution and building physics, which is focusing on acoustic assessment, thermal assessment, and assessment of daylight. The second part is design of building services and design of heating system for a documentation for building permit. The building is located on gently sloping plot in a Boleradice in South Moravia. It has two storeys and gable roof. There is a separate one-storey garage with flat green roof on the plot. The building is based on a reinforced cocreate foundation slab on gravel of foam glass. The external walls are made from sand-lime blocks with ETICS of expanded polystyrene with graphite. The floor structure is a cast-in-place reinforced concrete slab. Gable roof is design like a warm roof, with load bearing structure from timber. The ground floor includes a walk-in wardrobe, a study, a utility room, a bathroom, a pantry, a living room open to a kitchen with access to the deck. The private zone, located on the first floor, consists of a master bedroom, children’s bedrooms, a bathroom, a separate toilet, and walk-in wardrobes. In the project, the design includes mechanic ventilation with heat recovery, rainwater management system, sanitary installation, electric installations, and a photovoltaic system as part of design conception of building services. Heating and domestic hot water treatment are provided by an air-water heat pump. Distribution of heat is provided by floor heating. The project also includes the Energy Performance Certificate.
Single-family house
Čejka, Jan ; Nespěšný, Ondřej (referee) ; Bečkovský, David (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the design of a new semi-detached family house and the elaboration of construction documentation. The object is located in the central part of the town Kuřim near a second-class road connecting Tišnov and Brno. The terrain around the object is flat. The building is without a basement with two above-ground floors. The semi-detached house is divided into two separate units with separate entrances. One apartment is designed for 4-5 people. The building is designed as a nearly zero-energy building in a low-energy standard. The foundations of the object are formed by a reinforced concrete foundation slab, under which there is a thermal insulation layer of foam glass gravel. The vertical load-bearing structures are made of sand-lime masonry. The object is insulated with an ETICS system with insulation made of basalt wool. The ceiling construction of the building is made of pre-stressed hollow Spiroll panels. The roof structure is designed as a classic rafter roof with a folded roof covering. The design documentation includes a fire safety assessment, a thermal technical assessment, and an assessment of acoustics and daylighting.
Apartment building
Vdoviak, Martin ; Borošová, Renata (referee) ; Brukner, Bohuslav (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor's thesis was the elaboration of project documentation for the construction of an energy-efficient residential building. The new construction of a detached residential building will be located in the northern part of Nové Město nad Metují on plot no. 258/14 in the cadastral area of Nové Město nad Metují. It is a five-story building with a basement, which includes three atypical floors. The basement contains garage space, technical facilities for the building, and storage areas for the residential building. The above-ground space predominantly consists of residential units, with a store also located on the first above-ground floor, but with its own entrance from the outside. The building is designed for 33 people in 13 different types of residential units. Access to individual units is through a common area of corridors, staircases, and via an elevator. The proposed structural system is wall-based with a stiffening core. The building has two types of roofs: a pitched roof made of wooden trusses above the main part and a single-layer flat roof above the remaining sections, partially accessible and bordered by a parapet. Load-bearing external walls in aboveground floors are made of load-bearing ceramic blocks. Non-load-bearing internal partitions are made of non-load-bearing ceramic blocks. The structure is founded on a foundation slab. The basement's perimeter walls consist of reinforced concrete monolithic walls. The internal load-bearing system consists of reinforced concrete columns. The building is insulated with EPS thermal insulation boards, meeting the requirements for External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems (ETICS). The insulated facade will be a combination of white color and cladding imitating dark stone, while the plinth will be finished with dark gray marble plaster. Sheet metal elements are designed from lacquered galvanized sheet metal in dark gray color. The frames of external openings are dark gray

The roofing is designed with a vegetated flat roof. The main load-bearing system is made of aerated concrete blocks. The perimeter basement masonry is made of lost formwork blocks. Thermal insulation of the building is solved by contact insulation system ETICS. The building is based on foundation strips.
Static analysis of wooden truss
Cicálková, Eliška ; Zídek, Rostislav (referee) ; Vlk, Zbyněk (advisor)
Bachelor work is processed as static calculation of traditional wooden roof. For analysis of structural model is used program using finite element method (FEM) - Dlubal RFEM 4. According to the actual implementation is modeled brace calculating model. Here separate construction elements are assessed the first and the second limit states - ultimate limit state and serviceability limit state. Nail connection is maked at the close of work. It´s connections of roof tie and rafter.
