Design of forging line
Pazour, Jiří ; Štroner, Marek (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
The thesis is focused on designing of automated workplace meant for production of gear made of steel 11 523 with yearly production of 500 000 pieces. After considering all of the input data, it was decided to use die forging. A forging with flash was designed from the original shape of the gear. Forging force was calculated, and its value is 25,08 MN. Press LZK 4000 B was chosen for such force and is part of a forging line. Another machinery are induction heater KSO 1200/1,2-C40, trimming press LDO 500 A/S and lubricant mixing and supply system DAG 183 BMS. The choice of presses was justified by calculated forces. Industrial robots IRB 6660 and conveyors are providing material handling. Thesis contains two possible layouts, one with a square area of 400 m2 and another with a rectangular area of 420 m2. At the end was calculated production time of a piece. If robot were moving at 1 ms-1, production of one piece would take 25,9 s and for 2 ms-1 it would take 18,2 s.
Design of crane hook production
Horák, Tomáš ; Štroner, Marek (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design of the production of a crane hook made of C45 steel. After evaluating suitable technologies, die forging on a mechanical press was chosen. Based on the analysis of technological technology, the shape of the part was modified and all necessary additions and limit deviations of forging dimensions were determined. The semi-finished product with a diameter of 65 mm and a length of 380 mm will be formed on a cross wedge rolling mill, bent on a separate press and subsequently forged. The crank forging press LZK 3150 B from the company ŠMERAL Brno a. S., With a nominal forming force of 31.5 MN, was chosen from the calculated forming force. The construction of the dies is based on the ČSN 22 8306 standard and they are made of 19,552 steel with subsequent heat treatment.
Manufacturing of a jet half coupling
Ostřížek, Jan ; Štroner, Marek (referee) ; Řiháček, Jan (advisor)
The work deals with the design of the production of a jet half coupling made of aluminum alloy AlMg1Si1Mn. At the beginning of the work is an analysis of possible production methods, of which the most suitable method of die forging. Based on the evaluation of technological technology, shape adjustments are made, additions and dimensional deviations are selected. A semi-finished product 50 x 108 mm is determined from the forging volume. The crank press LZK 1600 P / SH is chosen for forging. According to the standards, 2 forging and 1 finishing dies are designed for the forging. At the end of the work is also given an analysis of cutting, on the basis of which the press LKOA 200 is chosen.
Machinery used for drop forging
Vondráček, Petr ; Řiháček, Jan (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
The bachelor thesis contains distribution and overview of the machines used in the proces of die forging and their modern innovation. For individual mechanism is described principle, structural arrangements and advantages or disadvantages, or the example of used machine for which is described his charaterisctic, basic parameters and productions possibilities with example of made forged.
Shaft manufacturing using forging technology
Vaško, Michal ; Kopřiva, Miloslav (referee) ; Šlais, Miroslav (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with project of shaft manufacturing using drop forging technology. This technology is manufacturing using cubic forming on vertical forging press. Work includes detail data for working out technical drawings of suggested component. Thanks to modification of parameters and forging a whole we reduce material waste which is compared to turning technology. Production process is adapted to established production process in company Kovarna ZETOR Brno. Further the work includes cost price of one forging from the set of 30 000 products a year. The work also contains background research of drop forging technology, technical drawings, production process list and simulation outcome for drop forging of the suggested komponent by software FormFEM.
Manufacturing of mudguard holder using forging technology
Ondráček, Miroslav ; Podaný, Kamil (referee) ; Šlais, Miroslav (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with problems of drop forging. A detailed literary study is prepared in this work, in which there are data for working out the specified component – mudguard holder. There are options for cutting the semi-product, types of lubricants, construction of ideal preform or different kinds of forging machines for drop forging. The next part of this thesis is about technology of drop forging on crank forging presses. This section is aimed on technical drawing of the forging and its classification by the complexity of the shape. Furthermore, the thesis deals with the economic part, setting out the individual costs of the production from which the cost price of a forging is determined.
Design of robotized workplace for die forging
Krejčí, Radek ; Zavadil, Radek (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design of technology for production of wheels to be manufactured by die forging 15 142 low-alloy steel at an amount of 500,000 items per year. Based on a consideration of the suitable methods of manufacture, die forging on a Jing Duann FP-1600G vertical forging press was chosen as the best, as documented by the necessary technological and design drawings. A die with inserts made of 19 552 steel was designed for this machine. In view of the volume of annual production, a fully automated workplace was designed consisting of three robots and a chain and pan conveyor. In the conclusion there was a technical-economic evaluation of costs for the material of the semi-finished products and price of dies for annual production.
Hydraulic press of current production
Kolbábek, Lukáš ; Matějka, Petr (referee) ; Blecha, Petr (advisor)
In this thesis the background research is performed and a description of the basic parameters and parts of hydraulic press of current production. The advantages and disadvantages of hydraulic press are compared over the mechanical press. It deals in detail with constructional and technological division of press. The individual uses are described for the technology of sheet metal forming and solid forming metal materials where specific manufacturer and type of press are indicated. It further describes the new trends in use of press for production of car body parts in the automotive industry. In conclusion the basic formula for the design of the press are outlined.
