Artificial intelligence in education
Pavlov, Jan ; Walek, Agata (referee) ; Jašková, Jana (advisor)
Navzdory tomu obě skupiny podporují začlenění umělé inteligence do vzdělávání.
Automatic Evaluation of e-Learning Tests
Hort, Jan ; Fapšo, Michal (referee) ; Smrž, Pavel (advisor)
The thesis is dealing with research of automatic evaluation of e-learning tests. That technology is useful for domain of computer aided learning and e-learning and intelligent tutoring systems. This is extending possibility of online testing the student's knowledge. This thesis is also dealing with norms for learning and intelligent tutoring systems. Briefly introduce some project of domain of intelligent tutoring systems.
Teaching Advanced Python through Automatic Feedback to Student Codes
John, Petr ; Dočekal, Martin (referee) ; Smrž, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on the topic of teaching Python programming language assisted by automated system that can provide feedback to submitted solutions. The goal of this thesis was creation of automated system that could evaluate student solutions and provide feedback. The main emphasis was on provided feedback and options for limiting resources that can be used. Created system provides feedback based on the analysis of abstract syntax trees assembled from submitted solutions, allows an administrator to attach tips from third party programs and set restrictions on resources, libraries and functions, that can be used. System was used during summer semester in ISJ course and 60 % of students improved their solution based on feedback given by system. This suggests that created system can be used during Python tuition.
Teaching Advanced Python through Automatic Feedback to Student Codes
Letý, Pavel ; Škoda, Petr (referee) ; Smrž, Pavel (advisor)
This master thesis is focused on tutoring systems and their practical usage in education. In the theoretical part of this work is introducted architecture of this systems together with characteristics of types and examples. Next there is a description of systems in programming courses. Based on this knowledge application for teaching Python through feedback to student codes is proposed. Implementation and presentation of tests results, gained in interaction with real users, are introduced in the practical part of the work.
