The initial chapters will deal with the principles of social and legal protection of children and characterize the available forms of family care. The third chapter is devoted to host care itself; defines it and its purpose in detail describes the so-called "hard-to-place" groups, for whom foster care is especially appropriate. Reference is made to the non-profit organizations that provide foster care and the process of service delivery is described. This research investigates the experiences and opinions of people who grew up in children's home. Analysis of discussions and conversations brought out some unexpected findings. We obtain views on the possible overuse of host care and also gain an understanding of the lives of children living in children's homes.
