TOWNHOUSE ON THE WATERFRONT IN PŘEROV
Dostálová, Lea ; Lazarov, Pavel (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Jan (advisor)
CONCEPTION - Different attitude than expected - Attempt to implement a model of so called city house which is already known for centuries in present Přerov. -Attempt to minimalize need number of parking places and their placement only on the groung. SOLUTION A result of the design is polyfunctional complex of five separate houses with following functions: housing (mayority) services, shopping, offices and religious areas. The goal of the solution is to fill up the corner between Brabansko and Malá Dlážka streets properly and avail excellent light conditions (orientation of main street facades is southeastern). With the rhytm and facade division particular objects try to distort strong horizontality of the street line. The corner is accented and thus represents the opposite of close Sokol building.

VYŠKOV, HISTORICAL CENTRE – VISION OF FUTURE - AREA OF FORMER „ KROMĚŘÍŽ GATE “
Höferová, Iveta ; Plášil, Jiří (referee) ; Boháč, Ivo (advisor)
Solved area is located in the center of Vyškov and is directly connected to the square. It forms one end of the chip Square. The proposal was to create a dominant object, which will close the square and end with the visual axis, which in recent years is not very flattering. The building would be dominant, but only so that did not compete with dominant main square, with the town hall. At the same time the goal was to design a functional building, which, thanks to the cartridge housing, shops and bring more people into the center and revive him.
Model přežívání smrku ztepilého v podmínkách gradace lýkožrouta smrkového
ONDŘICHOVÁ, Nikola
As a result of the gradation of the bark beetle, there is often extensive damage to spruce stands. Although not only damaged but also healthy stands are attacked during massive gradation, there are individuals who survive this gradation. The aim of this thesis was to determine which selected environmental variables affect the survival of trees in the conditions of gradation of the bark beetle. The area of interest of my thesis was the Březník area, located in Šumava. The evaluation showed that a strong effect increasing the probability of stands survival was manifested in the variable containing edaphic categories, especially in the edaphic category of the 9th class. This class represents a waterlogged permanently wet area, which increases the probability of vegetation survival and largely corresponds to humidity conditions. The distance to the natural edges of the stand also contributes to the increasing probability of survival. This thesis can be useful with its results and conclusions in the field of forest management.
Didactic potential of game Ubongo in teaching mathematics at primary school
Váchová, Michaela ; Slezáková, Jana (advisor) ; Jirotková, Darina (referee)
This diploma thesis seeks the possibilities of using the board game UBONGO in teaching mathematics at elementary school. This thesis focuses on manipulative activities of pupils during the game and its goal is to explore what are pupils learning through the game. The theoretical part describes the basis for the research, thus content of mathematics and geometry curriculum in FEP BE, child's developmental stages in terms of learning, play with emphasis on the board game, lightly examines motivation and is inspired by tasks which are in geometrical environment Parkety and utilize prof. M. Hejný's method. The practical part of the diploma thesis contains the preparation of graded tasks, which are formed from the board game UBONGO in order to implement qualitative research. Didactical potential of the game is verified by performing series of graded tasks, pre-experiment and experiment with elementary school pupils. The course of the experiment is described together with all steps, strategies and findings, which pupils learn through playing the game. At the end of the diploma thesis is an evaluation of the fulfillment of individual objectives. KEYWORDS Planar geometry, 2 D, manipulation, game, Ubongo, motivation, learning, polyomino, polygon, gradation, strategy
The impact of a bark beetle gradation on the occurrence and feeding ecology of a three-toed woodpecker (Picoides tridactylus) in the Šumava National Park
Navrátil, Martin ; Fuchs, Roman (advisor) ; Reif, Jiří (referee)
The main objective of this study was to find factors that influence the occurrence of three-toed woodpecker (Picoides tridactylus) in Šumava at a time when the bark beetle gradation caused by Kyrill subside. The research was conducted on five transects. To prove the presence of three-toed woodpecker was opted the method of an acoustic provocation, which reliability was well proven. The hypothesis was that the three-toed woodpecker prefers the trees infested by bark beetle instead of healthy trees. Surprisingly, however, he also prefered the stands where the main attack took place several years ago. Regardless of their health status the tree- toed woodpecker preferred non-intervention stands instead of the on- going management forest. Among other factors, the exposure was applied (preferred south and west) and elevation (median, minimum altitude of about 1100 m.). Another important result is that Picoides tridactylus prefers for its food stands still alive or just dead spruce trees infested by the bark beetle. Overall, it appears that the three-toed species has narrowly defined biotope demands, which are linked to the natural spruce forest unaffected by people. The results of this study could be used to better understanding of the ecology three-toed woodpecker, eventually can help to create a...
Comparison of population parameters of Large blues from genus Phengaris on multiannual basis
Bártů, Nikola ; Vrabec, Vladimír (advisor) ; Petr, Petr (referee)
There where evaluated the changes in abundance of overall metapopulations and abundace of butterflies on surveyed areas occupied by Phengaris nausithous (Lepidoptera: Lycaenidae). It ran on two long-term monitored locations in the Czech Republic : Slavíkovy ostrovy u Přelouče a Dolní Labe u Děčína. Data for this comparison was obtained by longterm monitoring of the abundance of butterflies on these locations. The method of reverse capture of labeled specimens was used and then statisticall processing of marking results in program MARK. In final number of the target species has been found significant fluctuation , after our evaluation. Abudance of total metapopulation in Přelouč in years from 2004 till 2016is variable from 148 up to 1 369 butterflies, numbers in Děčín between 2008 and 2016 has vacillated from 273 to 1952 individuals. Growth of abudance of metapopulation on these two locations are obvious from crossing both diagrams (in years 2006, 2010-11 and 2014-2015). However, observing time-lime is not so long, this is very strong argument to support this hypothesis: ,,From aged time sequence there is noticable graduation periodicity. Than has been compared progression of population of individual locations compare to metapopulation of both locations together and it has discovered this observation is a real picture of aged progress. Most of places of research copying trend of metapopulation. If there are any differences, for example total metapopulation grows, but population of individual location declines, it could be explain as a change of familiar location related on mamagement, in this case on the wrong one. Contrariwise, rising of individual colony against the trend of metapopulation, mostly shows a positive changes in maintenance of site. Long therm researching is highly recommented for rating of impact of management.
