Study of modification possibilities of organics fibers for improvement of their properties
Tošerová, Ivana ; Třísko, Pavel (referee) ; Zach, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the possibilities of modification of fibrous insulation materials based on natural fibers, especially in terms of their reaction to fire tests. The aim of the work is to define the parameters influencing the reaction to fire test and to design the optimal treatment of insulations in order to achieve the best possible reaction to fire tests without the use of secondary chemical treatment.
Study of reaction to fire tests for thermal insulating materials
Krivda, Antonín ; Novák, Vítězslav (referee) ; Sedlmajer, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with thermal insulation, it is fire resistance and reactions to fire. The thesis also approaches the testing of thermal insulation materials. In detail, it focuses on the Small flame test, Calorific value determination and the Flameproof test. The test methods were performed on insulators based on polystyrene and mineral wool. The literary research focuses on the fire safety of buildings that have been already insulated.
Properties of concrete with cement matrix at high temperatures
Fiala, Jiří ; Dvořák, Karel (referee) ; Bodnárová, Lenka (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis deals with the behaviour of the cement concrete at high temperatures depending on the aggregate and cement type. The theoretical part describes the processes in the concrete structure at high temperatures affecting the individual concrete components. The design of concrete structure with basalt aggregate and four types of cement in the experimental part was carried out. The proof of physical-mechanical properties after thermal load was reviewed, particularly change of density, compressive strength and tensile strength in bending. The X-ray diffraction analysis was carried out with prepared test samples.
Study of the influence organic fibres on the fire resistance of concrete
Klobása, Jan ; Přikryl, Jan (referee) ; Sedlmajer, Martin (advisor)
The master thesis is focused on current issues of concrete behaviour under high temperatures. In the theoretical part, a search of knowledge about changes in concrete, which take place when exposed to thermal loads, which simulates the effect of fire, is performed, and summarized. It is also important to summarize the changes in the individual components that are used to produce concrete. This work describes the effect of high temperatures on mechanical and physical properties as well. There is an information about the most used fibres and their function in concrete. Emphasis is placed on describing the possibility of using recycled PET or cellulose fibres due to the positive environmental impact. In the experimental part, recipes with different types and amounts of fibres are proposed. The subject of the research was to determine how individual types and amounts of fibres affect the physical mechanical properties of concrete and their suitability for use at high temperatures. Microscopic scanning and study of changes in the structure of concrete was also performed.
Operative diagnostics of an object affected by fire
Hnátková, Barbora ; Lisztwan, Dominik (referee) ; Schmid, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with technical construction research of the family house which was affected by a fire. The theoretical part of this bachelor’s thesis is describing a fire resistence of the masonry and mainly timber structures. In the practical part is a description of the construction, descriptions of the diagnostic methods, goings of the tests and their evaluation. The main focus of the survey is to find out a state of the construction after the fire and its reliability.

Studying the behavior of cement concrete at high temperatures
Sovová, Kateřina ; Sitek,, Libor (referee) ; Bodnárová, Lenka (advisor)
Bachelor thesis is divided in two parts, theoretical and practical. In theoretical part are listed behaviour of cementious concrete at high temperatures and knowledge from particular construction, that was damaged by fire. There is given procedure of diagnostics for collected speciments of fire-damaged construction. In named analysis belong the carbonation depth through phenolphthalein solution and test of compressive strenght according DIN EN 13791 2008-05. In this study are demostrated results of tests, that were made on materials exposed to high temperatures. Result of constructions analysis is evaluation of economical reapairing works for safety. Practical part deals with measuring thermal conductivity at standard temperature and at high temperatures.
