Research on digital appointment scheduling in the hairdresser market

Currently, digitalization permeates every aspect of our lives, and hairdressing is no exception. This bachelor thesis, first of its kind, focuses on the digitalization of the customer booking process in hairdressing salons in the Czech Republic. The aim of the thesis is to analyse the current state of digitalization in this sector, identify the main benefits and challenges associated with the implementation of digital booking systems, and suggest possible improvements to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction. The work combines quantitative and qualitative research methods, including descriptive statistics and in-depth interviews with key market participants. The results show that although the digitalization of booking is still in its early stages, it has the potential to significantly improve work organization, reduce the time required for reservations, and increase customer satisfaction. This thesis contributes to a better understanding of the benefits and barriers of digitalization in hairdressing and offers resources for business applications. Tato diplomová práce představuje návrh a implementaci řídicího systému známého jako Innovation Scorecard, který byl zaveden a aplikován v rámci společnosti Red Hat Czech s.r.o. Účelem bylo vylepšení současného modu operandi společnosti se zvláštním důrazem na zlepšení vývoje a implementačních procesů softwaru. Hlavní zaměření práce je především na měření toho, jak úspěšný byl jakýkoli navrhovaný inovativní způsob práce. Diplomová práce je rozdělena do tří částí. První část obsahuje základní znalosti, které jsou důležité pro pochopení konkrétního tématu výzkumu. Druhá část diplomové práce popisuje společnost a umožňuje tak pochopení interních procesů a systémů v rámci firmy. Třetí část obsahuje související návrhy, jak zlepšit vnitřní procesy. To je založeno na analýze s hlavním zaměřením na to, jak společnost v současné době funguje.

Návrh infrastruktury pro testování React komponent

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of React.js (Typescript) web applications testing and methods of effective organization of a sustainable test infrastructure in the specified conditions. Parts of the work describe both formal theoretical approaches to problem solving and informal practical ones. In addition, the aim of the thesis is to increase awareness of the testing process - a description of the advantages of correctly tested products can also be found in text. The output of the theoretical part is a more general recommendation in the form of a diagram and a description of the sequence of steps helpful in the implementation of testing activities. The practical contribution of this work lies in the establishment of a test infrastructure for a specific contractor company by adapting the universal procedure to its needs and situation.

Analysis of the process of recruitment and selection of business consultants in insurance company

The Master's Thesis is focused on the process of recruitment and selection of applicants for business consultant positions in an unnamed insurance company. The position is characterized by frequently repeated demand for recruitment of new workers. Therefore the requirements for effectiveness of the process of recruitment and selections of suitable applicants increase. The goal of the Master's Thesis is to evaluate current effectiveness of partial steps of the process and uncover ineffective parts of the process. Based on uncovered ineffective sub-processes a set of recommendations which would help increase the overall effectiveness of the process will be given.
