Prevalence of musculoskeletal disorders in employees of one company working in an office environment

Title: Prevalence of musculoskeletal disorders in employees of one company working in an office environment Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to identify the most common WRMDs in individuals with sedentary jobs in an office environment of one company. Another objective, is a more detailed evaluation of the results directed to the risk factors involved in their problems according to the respondents and the preventive strategies used by the respondents to prevent pain and discomfort. Methods: A questionnaire survey was chosen to collect data. The questionnaire for the study was based on the Nordic Musculoskeletal Questionair (NMQ), a standardized questionnaire, the core of which was kept in its original form, and the section on risk factors, preventive strategies and sociodemographic questions was adapted for the respondent group. The questionnaire was distributed electronically, with respondents answering both open and closed questions. In total, the research population consisted of 133 respondents. The collected data were statistically processed using MS Excel and tables and graphs were created to illustrate the results. The thesis deals with human’s relationships to the nature and vice versa and with architectural interventions’ influence on these relations. The intention of the whole work is to re-value consuming landscape use and human’s attitude to the landscape thanks to smaller objects that do not destroy, do not restrict and do not deform its surrounding but on the contrary they elevate genius loci, that they are affable seeing and affable to the nature environment and mainly strengthen relations between surrounding and their users. The work subjects and issues on my own experiences experienced in the countryside. That is why I consider necessary to point out to the beauty and uniqueness of mountain environment’s discomfort, that beside leads to strengthen our mental and physical health.

The bachelor's thesis deals with pressure mapping and testing the women’s cycling pads which affect this pressure as well. Cycling causes pain in the intimate areas for many women and men. This problem can be caused by several factors – shorts padding, saddle shape or wrong bike position. The aim of this work is to assess whether various women’s cycling pads influence perineal protection and level of comfort. The theoretical part contains informations about cycling, anatomy, technologies and materials used in the manufacture of bicycle linings. The practical part focuses on the measurement methodology, description of chamoises and evaluation in terms of the effectiveness of damping and pressure distribution. For measurement was used Medilogic pressure mapping device.

The main task of this profession is the dispensing of medicines when you need to be very attentive and responsible. With the action of stressors and the consequent stress there are manifestations of fatigue which disappear with rest. Working conditions are an important factor that affect the overall mental and physical condition of the pharmacist. Objective: The aim of the thesis was to evaluate the degree of fatigue of pharmacists by analysing working conditions and based on the results to recommend proposals for improving health and working conditions in pharmacies. Methods: The method was based on a questionnaire survey, where pharmacists responded to the degree of fatigue in the area of subjective feelings of fatigue, vision problems and problems associated with the musculoskeletal system. Aim of study: To characterize the profession of a pharmacist from a historical perspective, their role in society, and the legislative definitions. Describe concepts related to mental health and mental hygiene focusing on stress, fatigue, and burnout. In the practical part, analyse the identified subjective feelings of fatigue of pharmacists and pharmaceutical assistants while comparing these two interviewed groups and evaluating the impact of the pharmacy location (city, village). Methods: Questionnaire survey through the Subjective Symptoms of Fatigue (SSF) questionnaire and the scale of Mental Fatigue. Respondents - pharmacists and pharmaceutical assistants in the same proportion of representation concerning the expertise and location of the pharmacy. Children camps and its benefits to successful integration and life of camp-participants in society

The work deals with the relationship between children's summer camps and socialization process. In the theoretical part, the two phenomenas are described. The author uses two perspectives on socialization and then formulates her own understanding of the term. The section dedicated to children's camps summarizes its history, types of summer camps, its main characteristics and focuses on the educational potential of children's camps. The practical part contains the description and results of a qualitative survey realized between the two groups of respondents - adult participants of past camps and their parents. The research results point differences of views on both groups of respondents on the main research topic.
