Possibilities of art technigues with elements of art therapy for people with mental handicap

The goal of my thesis is to introduce professionals concerned with special educational or art with the art techniques with elements of art which are suitable for individuals with mental disabilities. In the theoretical part, I looked at the themes: Children's creative expression, Special art, Art Therapy, Symbols in art therapy, Goals of art therapy, Art Therapy techniques, Mental ratardacion In the practical part I have to invent an individual training - methodology for working with mentally handicapped and implement various activities with elements of visual art.
Painting as a physical, gestical action. Gesture and physical space experience of reality in the landscape

Lešková, K.: Painting as a physical, gestical action - Gesture and physical space experience of reality in the landscape. [MA thesis] Prague 2012 - Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Education, Departement of Art Education, 84 pages. This work seeks to bring selected moments in the history of painting, which combines the gestural element and the physical and gestural actions. This award is largely bordered by landscape theme. Part is a philosophical reflection about the nature of painting as a physical object. Based on new findings related to the reflection of own artistic creation, author created a set of artworks with an emphasis on gestural expression. Linking acquired knowledge and creative experience led to the creation of didactic art range of tasks suitable for teaching elementary school pupils from which consist effort to achieve creative thinking and developing the gesture and action at work. Great emphasis is placed on the motivational process. Part of the task is verified by experience in elementary school. The whole work is regularly supplemented by the visual documentation.
Collective and Group Art Activities in Kindergarten

The topic of the bachelor thesis is group and collective art activities in kindergarten. The theoretical part deals with the characteristic of preschool age and the framework educational program for pre-school education. It also describes methods and forms of teaching of art activities. Next chapter focuses on children's creative expression and its development. At the end of this section are described some of the traditional and non-traditional artistic techniques and work habits during the drawing and writing. The practical part consists of description of specific group and collective activities performed with children in kindergartens.

Family in the Graphic Activities of the Children with the Different Family Background

The dissertation deals with art expression of a family by individuals aged from three to fifteen years old growing up in different family environment. The study is structured into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is focused on characteristics of mental and visual development of the child with regard to drawing the human figure, families and environment of children's drawings. This part also aims at a general definition of family and introduces us with its features. It also deals with mental needs of the child and the risks coming with their long-term failure to satisfy. The practical part is focused on the analysis of drawings in terms of its content and form; then it attempts to evaluate and compare the styles of displaying the topic among the target groups and it also monitors the level of their artistic expression.
The development of artistic creativity of children and the possibility of applying art plays in the free time pedagogy (aimed at pre-school age)

The work deals with the creativity of preschool children, using art plays in the education of free time. The theoretical part focuses on creativity, its elements and levels. It describes the creative process and the factors influencing creativity. It looks at why it is important to develop creativity, what are the methods and the development of creativity. Characterizes the development of creativity of children, and what enhances their creative thinking and perception. Furthermore, it defines art education, children's creative expression and the subject of children's drawings. It talks about an artist and educator leadership of art activities. It characterizes the game and its importance, creative play and its use. Describes leisure, basic human activity in leisure time and mention the artistic hobbies of children. It focuses on pre-school age children, their physical development, development of basic abilities and skills, socialization, and of course the game. The practical part is focused on creative art activities for children of preschool age and the use of art games. The project was carried out with children in the parental center, and its theme was the sea.
