Verification Procedure in Preliminary Proceedings Abstract This diploma thesis covers the verification procedure, that is the first of the two phases of the stage of criminal proceedings referred to as preliminary proceedings. The goal of the thesis is to provide a comprehensive explanation of the verification procedure, its course, as well as the selected entities involved in it. In the relevant passages related to the selected institutes of the verification procedure, the author defines the rules resulting from other legal regulations, judicial conclusions or conclusions of the professional public beyond the scope of the legal regulation contained in the Criminal Procedure Code. In this context, the author identifies, in relation to the selected institutes, the partial shortcomings of the current legislation, which are being compared with the legislation contained in the current draft of the new Criminal Procedure Code, which is the unfinished result of the efforts to recodify criminal procedural law. Verification in Pre-trial Proceedings Abstract: This diploma thesis deals with verification as one of the stages of the pre-trial phase of criminal procedings. The purpose of this thesis is to emphasize the most important institutes operating during verification as well as to expose current issues connected with The Criminal procedure Code, where the author share his experience with this stage of criminal proceedings. The first part of the diploma thesis deals with verification itself - its definition, demarcation of the verification within the criminal proceedings, specification of authorities acting in the verification and defining of the fundamental principles. A brief historical overview of the topic is attached as well. Subsequent principal part of the thesis includes a description of the most significant institutes excercised within the verification. Primarily the institutes related to an evidentiary procedure were stressed, especially institutes raising applicaton difficulties in practise. This thesis deals with the verification procedure, which is the first part of the preliminary proceeding and thus part of criminal proceedings. The introductory part of the thesis briefly covers basic instruments of the preliminary proceeding including the investigation phase whose knowledge is key to realize the position and importance of the verification procedure in the overall structure of the criminal proceedings. Bodies that are involved in the criminal proceedings are discussed including their definition, organization and determination of their competence in the verification procedure. The core of the thesis is divided into several parts that deal with the analysis of the verification procedure as well as activities that precede the formal beginning of the criminal proceedings. The ways are discussed by which bodies become aware of offences as well as the first steps of the police authority in the unofficial phase that precedes the criminal proceedings. The core part of the thesis also looks at the prosecutor's and especially police authority's powers that are typical of this phase and whose records are not directly admissible as evidence before court. An analysis of the verification, evaluation and classification of practical skills in the subject Practical Training

The topic of the thesis is "Analysis of screening, evaluation and classification of practical skills for teaching the subject vocational training". The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is mainly involved in screening, assessment and classification. The first part contains chapters dealing with education - the education system of the Czech Republic, diagnostics, teacher's personality, teaching methods, evaluation, auditing and evaluation methods. The last two chapters are dedicated to the classification, the criteria and principles and classification levels. In the practical part I find out how students in the first year of OSVs in Pilsen, majoring Gardening lead in acquiring knowledge and skills. I describe the individual students practical skills, and compare the results of selected work package. The resulting works of pupils are evaluated and compared in two groups of teaching. These groups of students are compared with groups of pupils last year. All information and data were obtained by observation. On the basis of the survey showed that the majority of pupils reaching gradually the necessary skills and the results of their work package are similar to those in the previous year.
