Protection of personal data at selected elementary schools

Kristýna Ježilová Školský management Ochrana osobních údajů ve vybraných základních školách ABSTRACT The bachelor thesis focuses on how personal data protection works in education and how selected primary school principals in the Czech Republic view this issue. The bachelor thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part explains and describes with the help of expert sources the important concepts of the so-called GDPR - General Data Protection Regulation, such as personal data, data protection, data fiduciary, data protection principles, subject, controller and processor in the context of the GDPR legislation, introduces us to the history of the GDPR, the legislation and the principles of personal data protection Furthermore, it describes the GDPR in education itself, what obligations schools and educational institutions have and what is the consent to the processing of personal data. In the practical part, a qualitative survey through interviews with school principals was conducted to find out how primary schools in the Czech Republic comply with the legislation on personal data protection. Data Anonymization in User Application

The master thesis is focused on de-identification of personal data. The thesis consists of theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part describes the legal view of personal data and is mainly focused on the concepts and possible de-identification methods and the difference between them. The core of the theoretical part is a description of basic and some advanced anonymization and pseudonymization techniques. The practical part of the thesis then focuses on programming an application in the Python programming language with a graphical user interface. The application implements an algorithm to generate a testing fake dataset that can be used for de-identification. However, the main functionality of the application is the anonymization and pseudonymization of personal data. For this purpose, selected de-identification techniques are applied in the application.
Legal Foundation for Protection of Personal Data in SMEs in Accordance with Czech and EU Law

The Diploma Thesis deals with the analysis of selected personal data regulations of Czech Republic and European Union and description of rights and obligations for controller and processor that result from those regulations. The aim of the thesis is to create recommendations for small and medium enterprises for processing personal data based on the previously mentioned assessment. The thesis is composed of three parts, a theoretical one, where the basic terms such as Business Intelligence, personal data or controller will be explained, analytical one, containing content analysis of selected regulations, and solution proposal part, where certain recommendations for small and medium enterprises will be carried out.
Building security awareness at the Faculty of Business and Management

This diploma thesis is focused on Security Awareness Education at the Faculty of Business and Management. It consists of three main parts: theoretical, analytical and practical considerations. The theoretical part is the introduction to basic terms, processes and analysis to help understand the thesis. The analytical part includes an introduction to the chosen organization and the implementation of analysis, which were presented in the theoretical part. The practical part contains, among other things, the actual proposals for Security Awareness Education at the faculty and its benefits.
Comparison of Security and Privacy Web Extensions

This work concerns the introduction and comparison of available filter lists and security and privacy web extensions. Furthermore, it describes the dangers the user is facing while browsing the internet and outlines the risks said web extensions are meant to protect the user from. This work involves the design and implementation of a testing environment created with the purpose of comparing said web extensions. The aim of this work is to compare security and privacy web extensions currently available on the market and to to shed light on the risks of internet browsing to an everyday user with the intend to recommend optimal web extensions based on their needs.

Explains the basic principles of electronic communication with public service, concerns with the security of informations, which are delivered to offices via internet and explains the access possibility for companies and also for citizens. This work describes services, which e-Government offers above all in resort of tax administration and tax institutions. Part of this thesis is a research of using e-Government services among companies.

This bachelor thesis focuses on an analysis of readiness of the Dolní Dobrouč village in relation to the General Data Protection Regulation implementation, which is known as GDPR. First part includes theoretical information about the areas of public administration and General Data Protection Regulation. The second part contains the analysis of current situation in the village. The last part covers the overall evaluation of analysis and my own proposal of solutions.
