Women of important composers, involved in music
Chvalová, Viola ; Palkovská, Jana (advisor) ; Tichá, Libuše (referee)
In this thesis, I summarize the personal and professional profiles of a selection of musically active women who lived alongside prominent composers. These are six women artists from the Baroque to the 20th century. In each chapter, a different element of their lives became the focus of my interest. Sometimes, given the paucity of reliable sources of information (especially in relation to the Baroque period), this is merely a summary of hypotheses, sometimes I focus more on the professional side of the personality, and sometimes on personal and family matters. The thesis deals with sections of music history with which the general public is not so familiar and yet which I suppose deserve to be known. I focus on the virtuoso of the seventeenth-century harpsichordist Marie-Rose Dubois, who, alongside her husband J. B. Forqueray, was a concert artist, the singer and important creator of the Bach manuscripts Anna Magdalena Bachová, the outstanding singer of the classical period Josefina Dušková, the wife of the Czech composer F. X. Dušek. I also deal with the harpist and composer Sophie Corri-Dussek, wife of the musical bohemian J. L. Dusik, the most important 19th century pianist Clara Schumann and the opera singer Berta Lauterer, partner of the Czech composer J. B. Foerster. There are, of course, many...

Good Chef
Rajmon, Daniel ; Bena, Julie (referee) ; Mazanec, Martin (advisor)
An interactive project called The Good Cook serves a multi-course menu consisting of a narrative video, a music album and a performance. The primary focus here is on the play of associations of cultural overlaps around cookery, which continue to accumulate and serve here as a tool for further imagery projected into the project's divided segments. Although the segments are separate, they are loosely related and interact with each other. The theme of cooking serves as a support system for the storytelling, which paraphrases cooking through, for example, the symbolism of the everyday, cooking TV shows, or pop culture metaphors such as the internet term "let him cook".
Machine learning in audio effects
Skinhead subculture within post-industrial era and its possible development through the eyes of its own members
Jakubčanin, Petr ; Maslowski, Nicolas (advisor) ; Urban, Lukáš (referee)
This diploma thesis is based on the essence of the subculture anchored in the post- industrial era. Through the relevant literature, I theoretically analyze the relationship of the skinhead subculture to the dominant culture and uncover its characteristics formed mainly by the influences of globalization, actual capitalist system and mutual interaction of various social factors. I also focus on the specific signs and internal differentiation of the subculture, which are related to its politicization. In the empirical part, I focus on answering research questions through qualitative research, which aims to reveal the emic perception of subculture in the post-industrial era through the eyes of its members themselves. The testimonies of skinheads about the current state of their subculture and its possible future development are then thoroughly analyzed and interpreted.

Software-defined antenna array
Sedláček, David ; Prokopec, Jan (referee) ; Maršálek, Roman (advisor)
Hlavným cieľom tejto práce bolo vyvinúť demonštračnú platformu pre implementáciu algoritmov na odhad smeru príchodu signálu. Celkovo bolo opísaných šesť techník, ktoré boli následne implementované v Pythone spolu so simuláciami príchodu signálov.
