Demonstration tasks of computer vision on a CNC milling machine
Duda, Pavel ; Honec, Peter (referee) ; Janáková, Ilona (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the integration of computer vision into CNC machines in order to demonstrate the practical application of this technology. The task is to design several demonstration tasks to test and implement the various computer vision algorithms and subsequent data processing to control a CNC milling machine. In conclusion, we find an evaluation of the results and possible alternative steps to fulfill the problem.
Hobby milling machine design
Valášek, Ondřej ; Zemčík, Oskar (referee) ; Dvořák, Jaromír (advisor)
At the introductory part, this thesis deals with description of individual parts of construction and control of CNC machine. Individual parts are described by vievpoint of principle of function, attributes and possibility of implementation on hobby machine. Furthermore is performed brief analysis of commercially manufactured CNC milling machines, which can be purchased on domestic and foreing markets for a purpose of milling wood and eventally aluminuum alloys. Main purpose of thesis is custom desing of CNC milling machine for non-commercial use. Three draft proposals are created first. Then one of them is developen into complete proposal. This design is then subjected to numerical simulation to pre-determine the machine's stiffness and ability to milling aluminium. The result of this simulation confirms the possible use of the machine for milling aluminium alloys. According to the simulation, the maximum deformation for possible machining of aluminium under predetermined conditions is 0.18 mm. In the last part of the work a price calculation was made, determining the approximate cost of the machine production at 75 000 CZK. The work includes a complete drawing documentation of the mechanical parts of the machine.
Type of construction and making of CNC milling machine because of pattern making
Knapil, Josef ; Madaj, Martin (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
Bachelor thesis describes the design and realization of model CNC milling machine. The first section describes the options for construction solution of small CNC machines. The second part describes the design and realization custom CNC milling machine. The third part deals with the preparation of production and production sample part.
Hobby milling machine design
Částka, Jakub ; Slaný, Martin (referee) ; Dvořák, Jaromír (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design and implementation of a CNC hobby milling machine for milling wood, plastics, and soft metals. The theoretical part focuses on market analysis and issues in the hobby field. It also deals with the comparison of different components used in the implementation. The practical part of the bachelor thesis focuses on the description of the individual components, the basic characteristics of the control system, and the actual design solution. This includes making a 3D model and drawings of the parts, that are manufactured. All is followed by the actual realization of the CNC milling machine. It is subjected to basic tests for accuracy, parallelism, perpendicularity, and repeated runs on the coordinates. During the construction process, emphasis is placed on minimum costs. The very end of the bachelor thesis is devoted to cost calculation.
