Stemming Methods Used in Text Mining
Adámek, Tomáš ; Chmelař, Petr (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
The main theme of this master's thesis is a description of text mining. This document is specialized to English texts and their automatic data preprocessing. The main part of this thesis analyses various stemming algorithms (Lovins, Porter and Paice/Husk). Stemming is a procedure for automatic conflating semantically related terms together via the use of rule sets. Next part of this thesis describes design of an application for various types of stemming algorithms. Application is based on the Java platform with using of graphic library Swing and MVC architecture. Next chapter contains description of implementation of the application and stemming algorithms. In the last part of this master's thesis experiments with stemming algorithms and comparing the algorithm from viewpoint to the results of classification the text are described.
Design and Implementation of Company Information System Connection to Economic Software
Machala, Ondřej ; Husár, Adam (referee) ; Neuwirth, Bernard (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is the analysis, design and implementation of a data bridge between the information system of the company Sledovanitv.cz, s.r.o. and the economic system. The first part describes the objectives of the project. The theoretical part provides the necessary foundation for the implementation and, in addition to the theoretical background of information systems as a whole it presents and describes the technologies used for the execution of the implementation. The needs and requirements for future expansion are determined based on the analysis of the current situation. The practical part introduces a proposed solution, the method and procedure of implementation. In the final part, the author gives an assessment of the practical and economic benefits of the project.
Aircraft system display design
Komárek, Jakub ; Vlk, Jan (referee) ; Chudý, Peter (advisor)
This thesis is dealing with the design and implementation of the modern systems into the cockpit of a civilian aircraft Boeing 737 MAX. Specifically speaking, the implemented part of the cockpit is an overhead panel which has been redesigned to a digital form including the touch control components. The implementation was made as a prototype connected to the X-Plane 11 simulator. The prototype was then user tested and the findings from the testing are summarized at the end of the thesis.
Management Application for Touristic Routes in OSM
Lev, Patrik ; Chalupníček, Kamil (referee) ; Kašpárek, Tomáš (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor thesis is a design and realization of an application, which would automatically check the hiking trails managed by Czech Tourist Club (Czech: Klub českých turistů, KČT) in the OpenStreetMap (hereinafter OSM) project's data. In this technical report is described the OSM project and its way of community mapping, data storage and the OSM data distribution. To map the hiking trails in the Czechia we use so called OpenTrackMap. In the following part are described the possibilities of the manual and automatic OSM data check. The part of the technical report is a design of the OSM data checking application. In the end of this work is described the implementation of the application and there is also attached the manual for the application.
Application Frameworks for Web Application Development
Tulka, Tomáš ; Křivka, Zbyněk (referee) ; Zendulka, Jaroslav (advisor)
Application frameworks are tools that enable easier development of web applications and enhance their quality. Because there are so may Java web application frameworks in existence it is difficult at times to choose the correct one to suit a particular application. This thesis examines frameworks from a general point of view. Descriptions of the characteristic functions of frameworks are also covered, along with functions, and the ways in which they differ from each other; and thus it enables the most appropriate framework to be chosen. The thesis also analyses typical representatives of frameworks for certain uses, it demonstrates their activity by means of standardized applications and compares them in terms of practical use.
