Business Intelligence v prostředí informačního systému QI

This work provides a survey of creation of the Business Intelligence by using QI information system data. The work concisely describes Business intelligence functions and its user's environment. QI system and the way of data storage are also defined in this dissertation. The following chapters describe the design and implementation of Business Intelligence itself over the actions made by registered employees. The proposal describes the design of a data storage system, a method of obtaining the necessary data from the QI information system, ETL process design, OLAP cubes design, and how to interpret the information in the form of reports. The last chapter then describes the realisation of all the proposed districts in MS SQL Server.

This thesis contains a describtion of the creation of a data warehouse of company groups with common proprietary bonds' account data. The work contains brief description of creation of a data warehouse, Business Intelligence, information system QI and the method of producing consolidated financial statements for a holding company. The design chapter contains a describtion of the structure of data warehouse database, a way of extracting data from the information system QI and external sources, ETL processes, an implementation design of adjustment phases of account data for creating consolidated financial statement, a proposal of OLAP cubes and the final report options. In the execution chapter the implementation of suggested parts in MS SQL Server environment is described.

This thesis deals with the analysis of the company's database system and the subsequent database design based on the analysis. The company whose database is being designed is engaged in the installation and servicing of garage doors and operators. The first part of the thesis deals with the theoretical background and introduces the issues of the database. The following chapter analyses the current status of the database in the selected company. The third part builds on the second and contains the actual database design for this company.

Bachelor's thesis deals with the optimization of an existing SQL database in a manufacturing company. The thesis is divided into three main chapters. The first chapter deals with the theoretical background, which serves as a basis for the following parts. The second chapter deals with the analysis of the current state in the company. Subsequently, the third chapter proposes its own solutions to the problems.

Proposal of Database for Pivní burza pub

Restaurant and pub Pivní burza is first of its kind on Czech market. The Pub operates on the principle of exchange (organized market), where the price of beer is floating and with increasing demand for one product, price of the other products is changing in real time. Customer can monitor the price developments and realize an order on the touch panel, which is located on the restaurant tables. Thesis is focused on the analysis of the current status of the restaurant, own solution design and suggestions for future improvements.

Association Rules Mining over Data Warehouses

This thesis deals with association rules mining over data warehouses. In the first part the reader will be familiarized with terms like knowledge discovery in databases and data mining. The following part of the work deals with data warehouses. Further the association analysis, the association rules, their types and mining possibilities are described. The architecture of Microsoft SQL Server and its tools for working with data warehouses are presented. The rest of the thesis includes description and analysis of the Star-miner algorithm, design, implementation and testing of the application.
