Based on the objectives, two research questions were identified. The questions explore how well-informed parents are about the services of special school educators. The second section focuses on areas in which parents cooperate with special school educators. To achieve this goal, the author has chosen the qualitative research method based on questioning special school educators. The topic of the interview dealt with awareness of services for parents and about cooperation. The results suggest that, in their view, special school educators sufficiently inform parents about their services. Parents can find information on the web sites of schools or from special school educators. A decisive factor in terms of awareness from the view of special school educators is the perceived attitude of parents. The area of cooperation between the special school educators and the parents is directed towards the needs of the pupil. The results of this thesis can be interesting for students in the field of special education who want work as a special school educator. The usefulness of these results can change parents' view on the work of special school educators and call on them to cooperate.
