Identification of risks related to industrial furnaces - industrial gas-fired furnaces
Němčáková, Zuzana ; Křivánek, David (referee) ; Kotek, Luboš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the identification of the sources of risks and hazards that can occur during the operation of an industrial gas furnace. The classification of industrial gas furnaces according to their design is presented, the parts of the furnace are described by means of a drawing to understand the function of the furnace, and a description of the operation of the furnace is also an important part of the paper. The main attention has been paid to the research of gas furnace accidents, both in the metallurgical sector and in the chemical sector, for example, and on the basis of these, the Ishikawa diagram has been prepared. A search was also made of the legislative requirements for the safety of industrial furnace operation and the standards relating to this subject. The identification of sources of risk could then be made according to EN ISO 12100, which is described in the last chapter.

Krejčí, Lukáš ; Rozehnalová, Jana (referee) ; Kotek, Luboš (advisor)
Main goal of presented bachelors thesis is identification of hazards associated with operation of electric arc furnaces. But at first it is necessary to become acquainted with the device and to understand its function. Therefore description of construction with emphasis on electrical circuit, overview of few selected industrial disasters and legislative requirements for safe operation of the furnaces form starting position for hazard identification which is carried out according to the procedure of the standard ISO 12100 in the last chapter of this thesis.
