Czapek, Alexandr ; Kuklík, Jan (advisor) ; Blažek, Lukáš (referee)
The Third Czechoslovak Republic Period in the Context of International Contracts and International Politics This thesis titled "The Third Czechoslovak Republic Period in the Context of International Contracts and International Politics" is divided into a total of five chapters. In the first chapter, or rather in its theoretical part, the author first defines the observed period of 1938-1948 and then defines the legal institutes with which he works in the thesis. In the second chapter of the thesis, the author describes the period of the so-called Second Republic and its political development. In the third chapter of the diploma thesis, the author describes the activities of the Czechoslovak authorities in foreign exile. In this chapter, he discusses the steps of the foreign resistance directing the Czechoslovak government in exile and the process leading to the denunciation of the Munich Agreement. In the last part of this chapter, the author discusses the influence of communist members of parliament on foreign resistance, the improvement of relations with the Soviet Union, President Beneš's visit in Moscow and the negotiation of an alliance agreement between Czechoslovakia and the USSR. In the fourth chapter of the diploma thesis, the author deals in detail with the so-called Potsdam Conference....
ENHANCING WELD JOINT INTEGRITY IN S460 HIGH-STRENGTH STEEL PLATES: AN EXPERIMENTAL APPROACH
Al Khazali, Mohammad Sami ; Malíková, Lucie ; Křivý, V. ; Seitl, Stanislav
Exploring S460 steel, this research assesses weld toe microstructure and fatigue. It finds that welding affects \nhardness of welded area and fatigue life. These insights are crucial for structural engineering, optimizing welding \npractices for longevity. \nTests confirm increased weld toe hardness correlates with fatigue resistance. This informs design strategies, \nensuring bridge safety under cyclic loads. The study advances understanding of HSS behaviour, influencing future \nwelding techniques.

Curator for Children and Youth and the Typology of his Clients
HRBKOVÁ, Vanesa
This bachelor's thesis deals with the social work of a curator for children and youth. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to describe the social work of a curator for children and youth with his clients, with a focus on the risky behavior of children and youth and possible differences in working with them. The curator for children and youth is an expert in the field of Social and Legal Protection of Children. Through its activities, it tries to use social work methods to take measures against the emergence and spread of risky behavior among children and youth. It focuses in particular on children who lead an idle or immoral life. Performs measures aimed at eliminating, mitigating, preventing, deepening or repeating disorders of the child's psychological, physical and social development. A qualitative research strategy was chosen for the research part of the bachelor's thesis, where the sample was selected by purposive selection from among Social and Legal Protection of Children workers in the South Bohemian Region, who work in the position of curator for children and youth. The necessary data were obtained by the method of questioning, the semi-structured interview technique. Subsequently, all necessary data were evaluated using open coding and data categorization was carried out. The results showed that the work of a curator for children and youth is very individual and always depends on the specific child or youth and their motivation to change their risky behavior. It also depends a lot on the family and peers of the child. Curators for children and youth mostly use interviews with the child and his entire family and case conferences in their social work. Although there are no specific scenarios for how to proceed when working with a child with a specific type of risky behavior, the curators take each case as important and always try to find a procedure that will make the best impression on the client.
Education of mothers about breastfeeding at the general practitioner for children and adolescents.
BEŇOVÁ, Aneta
Introduction: This bachelor's thesis is concerned with maternal breastfeeding education in a general practitioner for children and adolescents. Breast milk is the most natural food for the baby if the mother has a proper lifestyle. It also contains all the essential vitamins, nutrients and minerals that a baby needs for healthy development. Breastfeeding is a complex process and mothers are discharged to the home environment very early, thus there is little time for education during hospitalization. After discharge from the hospital, the educational process about the newborn is passed on to the paediatric nurse and the paediatric and adolescent general practitioner, which includes breastfeeding. The aim of the education is that the mother is informed about both theoretical knowledge and appropriate practical practices about breastfeeding. Objectives: The first objective was to find out how nurses at the general practitioner for children and adolescents educate mothers about breastfeeding. The second aim was to find out how mothers are satisfied with the education provided by the nurse practitioner for children and adolescents. Results: The study revealed that nurses most often educate mothers using verbal, practical and written methods. Mothers are most often educated during preventive check-ups, in the nursing clinics or individually according to the mother's needs. Furthermore, the research showed that four mothers out of eleven were not satisfied with the education. Then, the research showed that re-education for mothers who have a second child is lacking or insufficient because nurses assume they already know everything, but two mothers were satisfied. The reassurance given to them by the nurses was sufficient. One mother was not re-educated and another mother of two was partially re-educated. Furthermore, the research shows that two first-time mothers were satisfied with the nurse's breastfeeding education and another mother who had her first child rated her education as sufficient. Conclusion: Our research shows that there are differences in the statements of the two research groups regarding maternal education by the nurse at the GP for children and adolescents. This issue should be further addressed to avoid negative experiences of nurse education about breastfeeding at the paediatric and adolescent GP, and to ensure that more mothers continue breastfeeding after discharge from hospital. This undergraduate thesis can contribute to improving maternal breastfeeding education by nurses at the GP for children and adolescents and the results will be presented at the Lactation League conference.
Measurements of New Particle Formation in the Atmosphere
Špalová, Anna
In this work, the formation of particles and their transformation to larger sizes will be studied by measuring the concentration of molecular clusters. The measurement will take place at a rural background site National Atmospheric Observatory Košetice. At the ground level, a Neutral and Air Ion Spectrometer (NAIS) able to measure both neutral and charged clusters or particles ranging from 0.8 to 40 nm in diameter will be used together with a Particle Size Magnifier (PSM) able to measure neutral clusters as small as 1 nm in diameter up to 12 nm. Larger particles will be measured by a Scanning Mobility Particle Sizer (SMPS). At a height of 230 m above ground level, there will be another SMPS and also a nanoSMPS able to detect particles as small as 1 nm in diameter.
Thin Film Photocatalysts on the Basis of g-C3N4
Schimon, Domonik
This study revolves around the synthesis of powder g-C3N4, fabricationof thin g-C3N4 films and their efficacy in degrading pollutants, assessed through experimentation in a batch photoreactor (BPR) and a slit geometry photomicroreactor (PMR)2. The photocatalytic activity of g-C3N4 was tested with 4 different model substances: fluorescent dye, rhodamine B, was used as a reference substance and three separate antibiotics, which are emerging wastewater pollutants, namely tetracycline, trimethoprim, sulfamethoxazole.

The Influence of Geometric Parameters of 3D Printed Structured Beds on Hydrodynamic Characteristics of Trickle-Bed Reactor
Nyklíčková, Kateřina
The study examines a parametric set of POCS structures, where cubic cell is the basic element. The parameters such as strut diameter sd and cell size cs were varied1. These modifications are implemented with an emphasis on maintaining similar porosity and specific surface area for these structures.
Influence of Material Properties and Mixing Dynamics on Heat Transport in Granular Materials
Kokavcová, Anna
This study evaluates the effect of rotational speed on heat transfer and analyzes particle motion at different stirrer rotational frequencies to understand how primary and secondary flows affect heat transfer efficiency. It also examines the effect of Young’s modulus on heat transfer at different agitator\noperating speeds. Key simulation parameters and their influence 33 on heat transfer efficiency are detailed to improve the reproducibility and applicability of the results.
