Mobile application for clothing stores

The aim of diploma thesis is to suggest a mobile application for clothing stores. At the same time it takes into account how consumers and businesses are influenced by digital technologies. The app´s name is Digital Closet and its purpose is to organize your closet. Thesis includes a description of a mobile application in general and the well-known operation systems. Then one of the operation systems was set as a basic requirement for suggested application. This thesis also in part analyzes mobile applications at fashion industry. In conclusion, two surveys were conducted. First survey aimed at consumer market and the second one at clothing stores.

Aesthetics of Digital Animation

The thesis deals with aesthetics of computer animation, its evolution and direction. It tries to identify the determining factors of the visual aspect of computer animation and uses examples to compare different approaches pursued by large studios and certain small productions. The work's goal is to explore the reasons behind the continuing uniformity of the genre, which persists despite the fact that computer animation has become technically practically limitless, and offer a prognosis of its future development.

Má bakalářská práce je zaměřena na problematiku sociálních sítí a jejich vliv na dnešní společnost. Zabývá se jejich historií od prvotních pokusů až po nejnovější globální sociání sítě. Poté práce vysvětluje základní myšlenku vedoucí k vytvoření sociálních sítí i jejich charakteristické znaky. Dále nastiňuje problémy související se snadnou dostupností a nadměrným využíváním sociálních sítí, které následně ovlivňuje lidskou společnost. Práce se věnuje vlivu sociálních sítí na jazyk, mezilidskou komunikaci a kulturní adaptaci.

Transformation of the means of expression in the films of Steven Soderbergh during the transition from anolog to digital technology

Bachelor thesis "Transformation of the means of expression in the films of Steven Soderbergh during the transition from analog to digital technology" deals with the transformation of the creative approach in the works of Steven Soderbergh with the focus on the changes that the digital technology have brought. The birth of the digital technology from various authors' point of view is introduced for a complex understanding of the topic. The thesis doesn't deal with the technical comparison of the two technologies. Furthermore, the transformation of means of expression of Steven Soderbergh as the director, cinematographer and editor is described separately, as well as the overall transformation of his creative approach divided into three periods, and the anticipation of his future career.
The operating methods are study of foreign and Czech literature, comparison of the aesthetic attributes and technical possibilities of the analog and digital technology, analysis of the films of Steven Soderbergh, content analysis and participant observation.

This Thesis, named "Impact of digitalization on film production" describes and asesses new technological infulences, which are changing the filmamaking process in various ways by the phenonmenon of digitalization. Specific chapters are dedicated to following topics: comparison of digital cameras from first and second generation and their specific characteristics, 3D phenomenon, transformation of recent distribution, and digitalization of archives. The conclusion is dedicated to the technological development and outlook of future. The thesis is essentially an introduction to the current view and evaluation of digitalization impact from an artists perspective as described by distributors, film makers and the end user.

Gamification and its role within service design process

The work deals with the term Gamification, its origin, dez/interpretation and possible future. Gamification is based on game/play and its historical development, which is described in the work from ancient times to the era of computers. This brings us to the relationship between gamification and digital technologies that can develop its true potential. Goal of the practical part is to develop own gamified solution based on identified principles of gamification. Actual creative process is preceded by an analytical part where I try to identify a niche market and fill it.
