Load Calculation and Stress Analysis of Wing and Tail Unit of Parrot Aircraft
Hemmel, Radek ; Mališ, Michal (referee) ; Jebáček, Ivo (advisor)
Load calculation wing, aileron, flaps, tail unit of Parrot Aircraft according to specification ASTM F 2245-04. Stress analysis coat, stem, flange, rivet and point.
Replica Design of L-40 "Meta Sokol " Aircraft - wing
Pluhař, Tomáš ; Jebáček, Ivo (referee) ; Píštěk, Antonín (advisor)
This diploma thesis targets in concept of wing, aileron, flap and main undercarriage of the ultralight replication of the plane L-40 called Meta Sokol. The thesis developed from cooperation with two other members of the team – Alice Lipková (aerodynamics, power) and Miroslav Růžička (fuselage, tail unit and rear gear). The first part of this diploma thesis is concerned with load and concept of structure of the wing. At first the flight envelope is specified, then charakteristics of shearing force, bending moment and torsion moment are determined spanwise. The concept and subsequent strength verification of structure of the wing is also solved. The same process is claimed to concept of the aileron and the flap. The second part of this diploma thesis is dealt with main landing gear, its support, structure, springing and the principle of retraction. The final passage is devoted to load of the undercarriage.
Active aerodynamic components of automobiles
Mikulášek, Miloš ; Hejtmánek, Petr (referee) ; Čavoj, Ondřej (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is focused on the topic of active aerodynamic components. Bachelor’s thesis explains something about the basics of aerodynamics and generating aerodynamic forces. It also describes the main active aerodynamic components, which are used in automobiles for better driveability.
Wing High Lift Devices
Rakovský, Kristián ; Weis, Martin (referee) ; Horák, Marek (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with wing high lift devices. Thesis states the purpose of high lift devices, their division, a brief overview of their history and a detailed description of particular devices with mentioning their advantages, disadvantages and usage in aviation. A part of the thesis also contains a short statistic, which compares wing high lift devices of high capacity transport aircraft.
Wing design of the gliders
Löffelmann, František ; Weis, Martin (referee) ; Jebáček, Ivo (advisor)
Thesis treats influences of geometrical characteristics on aerodynamic wing properties generally meaning, wing construction load and describes typical wing design. Next there are introduced basic requirements on gliders, according to regulation CS-22. Consequently there are described composite structures and there is sketched their design. There are described wings of two different present high-performance sail-planes (Schleicher ASW 22, SZD56-2 Diana-2). Finally there are compared modern gliders, their performances and on this basic there are compared performances of 15-metre Class and 18-metre Class.
The development of fighter aircraft until 1950
Smýkal, Michal ; Koštial, Rostislav (referee) ; Bencalík, Karol (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deal with history of fighter aircrafts in the period since start of World War I until 1950. There are examined the main developement sources of the period, used constructions and materials. The most important characteristics of the aircrafs are showed in the graphs.
Wing structure
Kaňák, Ondřej ; Weis, Martin (referee) ; Jebáček, Ivo (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deal with the wing structure of small aeroplanes. Step by step we are discovering different kinds of constructions and their usage in aerospace industry. Characteristic signs (shape, geometric, load), advantages and disadvantages construction types are shown in this work.
Design of Darrius rotor as source of electric energy
Novotný, Martin ; Houfek, Martin (referee) ; Vlach, Radek (advisor)
This bachelors thesis deals about possibilities to use alternative energy source - wind. Model of Darrieus rotor was build for learning purposes using accessible materials and tools. The build model was tested and measured to discover real functionality and characteristics.
Design of experimental setup for investigation of nonstationary flow around vibrating wing
Uruba, Václav ; Jonáš, Pavel ; Tsymbalyuk, V.
In the paper motivation, methods and concept of intended experimental study of a boundary layer separation on moving wing is given. The model design suspended on a spring system with 2 degrees of freedom (displacement and rotation) is shown. The Time Resolved PIV method was suggested for measurement of both flow structure and wing position.
Experimentální vyšetřování proudění v okolí vibrujícího křidélka pomocí metody TR-PIV
Uruba, Václav ; Knob, Martin ; Vlček, Václav ; Luxa, Martin ; Lukáč, Jan ; Dvořák, Rudolf
Results from experiments on flow around vibrating wing in high-speed subsonic flow are presented. The Time Resolved PIV technique was used to follow dynamical behavior of both the elastically mounted wing and the flow-field behind the wing. The applicability of the chosen method for a given case was proved positively.
