Electric and Hybrid Vehicles
Kosík, Jaroslav ; Mikulčík, Aleš (referee) ; Hájek, Vítězslav (advisor)
This bachelor`s thesis is specialized on obtaining basic piece of electric and hybrid vehicles and their development. The first part of the work deals with electrical vehicles, their history and the possible development of these vehicles can take. In the next section is an example use of electric vehicles in the practical traffic. It is stated these vehicles compared with vehicles using the type of propulsion, such as cars with combustion engines or hybrid vehicles. At the end of chapter is supplemented by specific examples of photographic electrical vehicles. The third part of the work deals with the expected development of electric and hybrid vehicles. There is also a description of hybrid vehicles, and their comparisions with other vehicles using the drive as well as other examples of hybrid vehicles.
A study of electric vehicle recharging
Solař, Adam ; Kučera, Pavel (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
The subject of this thesis on the topic of the study of the electric vehicle charging. The aim was to draw up a research study on the history of the electric vehicles, the options of their charging and to assess the availability of the charging points in our country and abroad. Additionally, this study provides overview of the electric vehicles available on the market and the types of charging devices and charging options. In conclusion, a large number of the ways and charging types were discovered. Furthermore, we calculated the approximate charging time with regard to the type of charging device and convenience of the charging points. This work also mentions some disadvantages of the electric vehicles, such us the long charging time, charges for the fast charging station use or currently high retail prices of these cars. Despite the prevailing drawbacks, the electric cars are becoming more visible on the roads.
Miniature Tracking Device
Šťáva, Radek ; Levek, Vladimír (referee) ; Macháň, Ladislav (advisor)
The main theme of this masters's thesis is to design and make a miniature universal tracking device. This device is primarily for tracking asset, pets or people. For detecting the position data is used GPS technology. Data transmission is carried out via the GSM network. The device is technically solved and realized with respect to miniature size, high battery life and with regard to resistance against water, dust and impact damage. It is selected unique design, suitable for hermeticaly closure of the entire facility. Due to hermetic closure there is any buttons, any connectors and the battery charging is wireless.
Batery charger control by microprocessor
Džama, Igor ; Valach, Soběslav (referee) ; Macho, Tomáš (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with design of microprocessor controlled battery charger. Thesis contains circuit diagram of final charger. In this thesist there is created functioning software for control of this battery charger. Charger is than manufactured.
Data-logger with Accelerometer
Vychodil, Josef ; Povalač, Aleš (referee) ; Šebesta, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with designing and realizing a device which records high shocks using electronic accelerometer. Target is low power consumption and long battery endurance.
NiCd, NiMH and Li-Ion Accumulators Charger Controlled via USB
Knop, Petr ; Šimek, Václav (referee) ; Bartoš, Pavel (advisor)
Universal battery charger Ni-Cd, Ni-Mh and Li-ion batteries. The charger is controlled by microcontroller atmega8 made by Atmel. The charger senses the battery temperature, battery voltage and sends data about charging cycle to created applications over USB interface.

Stability of cathode materials for Li-ion accumulators
Janíček, Zdeněk ; Libich, Jiří (referee) ; Sedlaříková, Marie (advisor)
This diploma thesis focuses on study of positive electrode materials for Li-Ion batteries. Our aim are intercalation materials whose are really perspective materials whose are widely used in this case. The theoretical part of my thesis focus on basic study of Li-ion batteries and their parameters. We studied charging and discharging processes. AFM and SEM were used as additional techniques for study LiCoO2 a Li0,975K0,025CoO2. We tested lifetime and stability of electrode as a perspective material for electrode for Li-ion batteries.
The examination of the influence of electrolyte additives to lead acid batteries properties
Abrle, Ladislav ; Vaněk, Jiří (referee) ; Bača, Petr (advisor)
Lead-acid battery serves as the primary power source for vehicles. The total lifetime is determined by the parameters identified in the production, but also handling the operation and maintenance. This work deals with the effect of additives in the electrolyte added before and after the formation of cells lead-acid battery. The work deals with the influence of these additives during cyclic mode.
Influence of titanium dioxide on the life of lead acid batteries with applied pressure
Řihák, Pavel ; Křivík, Petr (referee) ; Bača, Petr (advisor)
Hybrid electric vehicles use lead acid batteries operating under partial charge. Battery life of these batteries is dependent on the speed of development of lead sulphate (PbSO4) to the negative electrodes. Different admixtures are affected battery life. This work deals with the influence of titanium dioxide on the negative active material in lead battery. Mainly devoted to the influence of the applied pressure.
