Adequacy of a literary text for the development of reading in primary school

The diploma thesis deals with the literary texts and their adequacy. It researches what features make kids books appropriate for the development of reading in the fifth grade of primary school. The attention is focused on reader's development and demands of literary texts. The action research gives the overview of one group of readers. Their favourite titles are assesed according to their adequacy. Bonnie Campbell Hill's Developmental Continuums are the main component for defining the criteria of the literary text. The selected texts considered according to their adequacy take place in a suggestion for teachers who want to deal with the level of kids books for their pupils. How to plan and then reflect the pupils reading performance with the knowledge of developmental continuums indicates the practical class.

Getting to know the realities of the region as part of the primary school

Science and social science curriculum in primary school can be introduced several ways. One of them is regional approach. Thesis brings a contemporary view to the implementation of the regional curriculum for teaching in primary school education in the Man?s world and offers concrete ways to bring the student curriculum. A comprehensive overview of the microregion enables teachers to facilitate the design of curriculum and offers him the possibility of finding a new forms and methods of work in education. Nature trail is one of the options on how to effectively bring knowledge of the microregion to pupil. Information on nature trail can be multilaterally used. Appropriate teaching materials are worksheets related to the nature trail and the immediate surroundings of the pupil.

TITLE: The use of the child songs lyrics in literary education at primary school SUMMARY: The subject of this dissertation are the texts of children's songs and composited poetry for children and their using in teaching literary education at primary school. The tagret to achieve was to develop a series of literary education lessons built on the principles of constructivist teaching methods using work with interactive text. Based on the assumption that work with the song leads students to a sensitive perception and understanding of texts, the recitation and the development of children's reading skills. Result of this work is a series of ten lesser-known songs with a specific practical methods of working with text in which the student actively participates. Utilization of Weekly diary for developing personal competencies of primary school pupils

Diploma thesis Utilization of weekly diary for developing personal competences of primary school pupils deals with strategies of development of pupils' social and personal competences, namely with fulfilling the chosen goals of personal and social education in primary school. The theoretic part of my thesis proves the meaning of the goals of personal and social education and lists the possibilities of their realisation in primary school. The thesis is farther concerned with the development of the key competences with the help of personal and social education and its methods. I concentrate on the meaning of the individualisation in pupils' education and the means of the development of reflective skills in a heterogenous class. The empirical part is an teacher's action research in its character. It presents a description of an authentically created process of the introduction of Weekly diary method to the work of primary school pupils'. The purpose of Weekly diary is to help the development of pupils' skills of self-reflexion. Alongside it should support good climax in the class, make the pupil - teacher relationship closer and the individualised support of the pupils' learning process more effective. Project "Technical Monuments in Klatovy and their application in teaching at primary school"

The theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to the project methodology and processes information about technical education as a full-fledged subject of the first primary school. The final part of the theoretical work is focused on ten technical monuments from Klatovy that were applied in the creation of educational projects. In the practical part of teaching are developed individual projects that are designed for first grade elementary school. The projects also includes the information base for teachers. Conclusion the practical part is devoted indicative verification project method to use at the elementary school.

Diagnosis of Selected pre-Concepts Towards Technical and Scientifical Education of 4th Grade Pupils

The graduation thesis is concerned with problems of chosen preconceptions from technical and scientific education. In the theoretic part the attention is focused on the topics related to the educational problems, constructivism, preconceptions, technical and scientific education in basic schools. Degree of structuralization of preconcepts was investigated by questionnaires in the investigative part. Unfinished sentences, assessment scales and cognitive maps are contained in these questionnaires. Into the investigative sample there were included pupils of fourth and fifth grade of the basic schools in cities Libáň and Jičín. Data about preconceptions and their structuralization were found out, processed and evaluated by the mentioned methods above (questionnaires and cognitive maps). These observed results are intended for quantitative and qualitative areas from technical and scientific education.
