The aim of this work is to analyze the problem of social alienation of two cultural centers of one region, rediscover a common link in between them and suggest a solution of their permanent coexistence through a specific architectural design.
Waterfront Danube in Bratislava

Waterfront of the Danube in Bratislava is the urban and architectural project, which deals with the part of the waterfront that is the closest to the city centre. The solved territory is between The SNP Bridge and The Old Bridge. This Area is divided into three areas. Each Area is analysed in detail, which results in a concrete proposal. In the area 1 (Ľ. Stur - quare) a Passenger Port is designed under the coronation hill with a statue of Maria Theresa. In the Territory 2 (waterfront - Fajnovo nábrezie) underground parking lot is designed. There is a park for students above the ground. Territory 3 (Tyršovo waterfront) is supplemented by a new building of creativity centre.

Master thesis project presents a strategy for wide area of Bratislava river-front, the Pecniansky forest. Aim of proposal is to get that large and forgotten place, the part of Bratislava city centre, back into the life. By controlled changes achieve space that will be attractive to all animal and plant species. The space is transformed to system of functional, relax and pure natural sites. The new space can offer new possibilities for Bratislava inhabitants in their free time and will be educational in self-sufficiency, sustainability and ecology in general.

The theme of diploma thesis is an urbanistic and architectonic study of selected parts of the waterfront between Starý most and Most SNP. The area is divided into three locations (Námestie Ľ. Štúra, Šafárikovo námestie a Tyršovo nábrežie). These analysis are processed with visions for possible further development. The Creative centre study is dealing to increase attractiveness of Tyršovo nábrežie.
Amateur football league in Bratislava

Focus of this Master's thesis is a business plan. The main focus of this business plan is organization of amateur football league in Bratislava. The goal of this Master's thesis was to determine whether this project can be successful, what is needed in terms of organization prior the league, during the league and after individual seasons of this amateur league. Furthermore,this project was also looking to determine demand and the registration fee and finally, to draw up financial analysis. When it comes to determining the registration fee it was crucial to take into consideration results of the created questionnaire. In addition, author's personal experiences that were gained through taking part in such amateur sport events in Prague,were also constructive in development of this business plan. The outcome of this project is a financial analysis which confirms expected economic convenience of amateur football league taking place in the capital of Slovak Republic.
Cultural capital of Bratislava and its influence on tourism

This thesis is analyzing culture and tourism in Bratislava, which has already became tourist destination in the past and it has large potential to become a favourite destination due to its rich history, culture and nature. Firstly, there are given basic definitions for better orientation and understanding of this theme. Last part focuses on culture and tourism in Bratislava with a view to the city as a tourist destination. In thesis I focused on analysis of tourist infrastructure, competition, marketing and destination management. The part of the thesis is presenting the analysis of Bratislava culture and information centre, which is aimed to the city promotion.
Comparison of cities Prague and Bratislava after the year 1990

This thesis focuses on the comparison of Prague and Bratislava from 1990 to 2009 with regard to their sustainable development and future development trends. Until 1993, both capitals share the same direction, being part of the same country. Aim of this thesis is to evaluate comparison points with regard to their sustainable development and to answer the question if both cities have the same development after the year 1990. The thesis is divided into five sections. The first section outlines the bases of urban theory. The second section focuses on methods and data base. Analyses of both cities are described in the third and fourth sections. In the final fifth part, outcomes of comparison of both cities with regard to the development of major European capitals are evaluated. Results of the comparison are summarised in the conclusion.

This bachelor thesis is focused on the integrated public transport systems in Brno and Bratislava. The theoretical part explains the basic terms, what should help the reader to better understand how the integrated public transport systems operate. The practical part consists of the history of public transportation in both cities, then the history of integrated public transport systems, in which cities are involved and finally how both of the systems operate. In the conclusion, both systems are compared to each other.
Municipal transportation system of Bratislava

This thesis deals with municipal transportation system of Bratislava. It is shown here its history, present and future plans which are associated with project Bratislava Integrated Transport. In the first part I define keys terms associated with public transport. In the second part I focused on realization of municipal transportation system in Bratislava and last part shows the expected development to 2020.
