Financial analysis of the North Bohemian Mines, Inc.

In my work I have focused on the issue of financial analysis. The main objective is to evaluate the financial situation of the North Bohemian Mines, Inc. and its development in the years 2008 - 2012, mainly on the basis of information contained in the income statement and balance sheet. The entire work is divided into two main parts. The theoretical part deals with the literature review, which covers various areas of financial analysis, particularly its methodology and financial statements required for it. The practical part contains a presentation of North Bohemian mines and the financial analysis itself. The whole work ends at the end with appreciation of the overall financial situation.

Financial analysis and financial plan of KOPOS Kolín, a. s.

The main objective of this thesis is to analyse financial performance of KOPOS Kolín, a.s. from 2009 to 2013, especially, via calculating various ratios. Following the financial analysis, the thesis also aims to outline the future plan of this company development, expressed through the individual items of financial statements. The first part of the thesis describes the individual financial ratios, both their explanatory power and their calculation. The following part focuses on the application of the methods and tools to actual data, which were obtained from the financial statements of the company, namely balance sheets and profit and loss statements. Furthermore, the thesis also includes interpretation of the results and a short-term financial plan for 2014, whose creation was based on combination of assumptions and estimates, also explained and described there. The final part deals with total assessment of the financial health of the company.

In this bachelor thesis called The financial analysis of MADE GROUP company a. s. I will make a financial analysis of an external analyst and I will try to evaluate how does the company stands and discover its strengths and weaknesses. In the theoretical part I will describe methodologies that will be applied later on. In the end I will evaluate the company according to the results gained from the absolute and relative indicators, compiled balance rules and economic normals, the results of the EVA, rating and default models and not forget any comparison with sectoral data.

The purpose of bachelor thesis is elaboration of financial analysis and short -- term financial plan of the company SOR Libchavy, Ltd. based on publicly available information. SOR Libchavy, Ltd. focuses on manufacturing, reparation of intercity and long distance buses. The bachelor thesis is divided into three parts. The first part presents financial analysis from methodical point of view, which particularly means technical and methodical instruments of financial analysis. The second part concerns sector analysis and financial analysis of the company as the next part deals with a strategic analysis and SWOT analysis together with comparison with the main competitors. In the last section is presented company's short-term financial plan for the year 2013.

Aspects of the crisis management in the restoration process of MSV Metal Studenka, a.s.

The thesis focuses on the insolvency proceedings, which were performed in the company MSV Metal Studénka, as a traditional Czech manufacturing company, which is engaged in the manufacturing of products for the railway, construction and automotive industries. The company got into insolvency in response to the economic crisis that hit the entire Euro-Atlantic region in 2008. Moreover, in 2008, the new Insolvency Act entered into force, it introduced new options how to solve bankruptcy in the Czech law, including a company reorganization controlled by its creditors. The thesis identifies and analyzes the main steps in the restoration process made by the crisis management, examines whether insolvency could be predicted even before the crisis, and compares the satisfaction of creditor groups in insolvency proceedings with the market average.

Financial Analysis of Pivovar Svijany, a.s., in Comparison with a Rival Company

My Master's thesis "Financial Analysis of Pivovar Svijany, a.s., in Comparison with a Rival Company" focuses on assessing the financial situation of the Pivovar Svijany, a.s. company between 2005 and 2011 and comparing it to one of its competitors, Rodinný Pivovar Bernard a.s. The thesis consists of two major parts. The theoretical one outlines the purposes and methods of financial analysis, such as analyses of absolute indicators, relative indicators, working capital, also the pyramidal decomposition of ROE, computation of EVA and finally, solvency and bankruptcy prediction models. The second, practical, part of the thesis uses the discussed knowledge to compare the two aforementioned businesses.

The subject of this diploma thesis on topic "Economic analysis of the chosen company" is the assessment of the economic performance of MOIRA CZ, a.s. The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the situation assess with respect to its financial health, economic performance and future viability. The first part of my thesis is devoted to approaches to economic analysis and its methods, in the second part is analysed the economic situation of the chosen company. The starting point for practical part are financial statements and their analysis using horizontal and vertical analysis, analysis of relative and financial ratios, or creditworthy and bankruptcy models. Further the DuPont analysis and analysis of he Economic Value Added (EVA) are applied. In conclusion are summarized the results of economic analysis and set out proposals for action that could lead to increased economic performance of the company.

Financial analysis of Cray Valley Czech co., Ltd.

The objective of this bachelor's thesis is to realize a financial analysis of Cray Valley Czech co., Ltd. over the years 2008 -- 2012. The theoretical part will provide complete description of methodological processes which will be subsequently practically used in the analytical part. The analytical part will contain the outputs of all the calculations, evaluation and comments. The core of this thesis will be represented by horizontal and vertical analysis of the financial statements followed by working capital analysis and evaluation of the fulfillment of the balance rules. Then there will be a section dedicated to profitability, activity, liquidity and debt ratios followed by calculation of economic value added. The last pages of the analytical part will include evaluation of selected creditworthy and bankruptcy prediction models, thanks to which we are able to assess the financial situation of the analyzed subject and to predict its future development. The final part will summarize the results and if possible, recommendations for the future will be given.

The goal of this thesis is to analyze company's financial statements to evaluate its overall financial situation from a bank point of view. You may find a conclusion based on the following analysis whether the company is applicable for a bank loan or not. This thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part describes tools of financial analysis. In the practical part those tools are applied on a 2009-2012 period. The main focus when applying financial ratios was on liquidity and debts indicators. A part of the thesis is also a brief analysis of significant client of the company.

The aim of the bachelor thesis "Financial analysis of the company Jihostroj a.s." is to evaluate the financial health, development, strengths and weaknesses of the company Jihostroj a.s. during 2006 -- 2012. The work is divided into two parts: theoretical-methodological and practical. In theoretical-methodological part the term of financial analysis is described and its methods: analysis of absolute indicators, ratio indicators, net working capital analysis, profitability decomposition, economic value added, bankruptcy and credibility models. These methods are applied in the practical part on the company Jihostroj a.s. In conclusion, the financial results are summarized and there are also several recommendations for the company to improve the financial situation.
