The bachelor thesis is focused on an investment recommendation for expansion of an investment portfolio of a mutual fund. After the formulation of adequate theoretical basis of work, suitable joint stock companies are selected in accordance with investment strategy of the model unit trust. These are analyzed using selected ratios and compared to each other with a purpose to design the investment recommendation itself.

The bachelor thesis aims on creation of investment portfolio. When creating will be based on economic results issuers. The theoretical part will describe the methods that will lead to this result. In particular, the determination of the intrinsic value of the shares and the influence of other issuer indicators that affect the final decision whether to buy the company's shares or not and, if so, what quantity. Portfolios will be evaluated after five years of tenure. The time period is limited to 2012-2017.

This bachelor‘s thesis is focused on the evaluation of economic efficiency of an investment project in a manufacturing company. As a major part of the thesis some options for the purchase of the particular machine were determined and the calculation of economic efficiency of these investment projects was processed. In conclusion, there is an assumption that the human work will not be necessary anymore and the productivity of labour will increase with the investment in the machine.

Investment Life Insurance and Individual Investments Connected with Insurance

This diploma thesis deals with the comparison of investment life insurance with risk life insurance and individual investment in open mutual funds in the territory of the Czech Republic. The theoretical part describes the basic characteristics of life insurance, open mutual funds and as a cross-section of the two products of the investment life insurance. It also describes the main cost indicators that can be used to calculate the cost of the insurance product. The analysis of the current situation is focused on a model example, in which the insurance products are compared and the investment part is evaluated. Subsequent comparison of results, selection of the most effective tool and recommendations are contained in the proposal section. The main goal of the diploma thesis is to determine the best solution for the end customer and to propose possible changes in the investment life insurance to make it more competitive.

Proposal of Corporate Financial Plan

The main topic of this master´s thesis is the proposal of Financial Plan in the selected company for years 2016 – 2018. This proposal is based on analysis of company´s data from years 2011 – 2015. Financial planning is a comprehensive set of analyses and calculations that precede the financial plan itself. The thesis also deals with corporate strategy, the company´s goals and objectives that help to reach its goals. Besides the above-mentioned, this work implements the theory in current dynamic period and gives the feedback on the strategic financial plan.

Comparing invest to save heating

The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to compare invest to save heating of a sample family house. At the beginning of the thesis there are analysed some individual options for reducing energy efficiency of the house. There are also discussed disadvantages of thermal insulation if it is badly performed. Thereafter there were calculated the heat losses of the house according to standard ČSN EN 12831, which determined the total annual energy demand for heating. These calculations were repeated in the software TechCON®, in which was later solved individual proposals to reduce the heat loss of the house. In the end, all options were evaluated.

Developing of Trading Strategy for Currency Market

This thesis deals with the design, implementation and optimization of the automated trading system for the foreign exchange market. Thesis analyses theoretical aspects for the system implementation, including introduction of foreign exchange market, types of market analysis, money management, risk management and technical indicators. The thesis further describes, what is required for development of such system and what important parts the system must contain. The work also describes how the system can be tested and optimised based on historical data.
