Comparison of the tools of export promotion in the Czech Republic and the Kingdom of Belgium with focus on the Walloon Region

The aim of my thesis is to compare the systems of tools of export promotion and the overall pro-export policies in the Czech Republic and the Kingdom of Belgium, with focus on the Walloon Region. There are several points of comparison to be treated in the thesis -- the division of powers, the division of tasks of export promotion, the range of offered services, the level of involvement of private sector in the export promotion system and the system of state control over the tools of export promotion. In the end of my thesis there are several suggestions on what could both countries learn from each other in the area of export promotion.
Tourism in Belgium, related to the Czech republic

The aim of the master thesis is to introduce Belgium as a tourist destination. The work is devided into 6 chapters giving the basic information about Belgium, describing its prerequisites and conditions for the development of the tourism and covering the relation between Belgium and the Czech republic. The responses of the questionnaire about the interest in mutual tourism are included. The last chapter presents the analysis of tourism in Belgium, also related to the Czech Republic.
Comparison of the Czech and Belgian presidency of the EU: preparation, course, results.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to compare the Czech and Belgian Presidency of the European Union, especially the preparation, course and results, including factors which could have affected these two Presidencies. The first part of this thesis is theoretical and describes the basic institutional system of European Union, rotating presidency system and changes caused by Lisbon Treaty. This part also contains a chapter concerning initial situation of these countries (brief geographic characteristics, political system and position in the European Union). The second part deals directly with the Czech and Belgian Presidency. It mentions their preparation, course, results and assessment to analyse and compare their differences and common features. French written summary and French-Czech glossary are included.
Language regime of the Belgian kingdom: theory and practice

The topic of this bachelor work is the language regime of the Kingdom of Belgium: theory and practice. The first section serves for a better understanding of the issue and consists of two chapters. The first chapter briefly describes the history of Belgium and the second chapter describes its administrative structure. The second section of this work is concerned with the analysis of the languages´ regulating laws in the most important domains. In conclusion, there is evaluated whether the laws analysed in the previous chapter regulate the use of languages sufficiently or not.

Then there is mentioned information about particular aspects of each institution. That means from their history, legal framework to their activities and organization. This thesis deals with Belgian foreign policy towards its former colonies since colonialism to the present. Particular emphasis is put on the crucial moments of their relationship, which are character of the colonial administration, process of decolonization, civil war in the former colonies and current bilateral cooperation. The conclusion and evaluation of Belgian foreign policy is based on analysis of historical and political mutual relations.

This thesis is focused on the analysis of business conditions of small and medium-sized enterprises in Belgium. First chapter involves the definition of these companies, describes their weaknesses and strengths and importance in the European Union. Next part includes short information about Belgium and contains also the description of the local business environment. Third chapter aims at the characteristics of small and medium-sized companies in Belgium considering the total number of active companies, employment and other measures and analyzes in detail the system of the public support at the european, national and regional level. The last part compares the sector of SMEs in Belgium with the same category of enterprises in the Czech Republic.

The aim of this thesis is to analyze a business cooperation between the Czech Republic and Belgium. The first chapter presents Belgium from geographical, historical, political and economic perspective. The second chapter describes trade relations between the Czech Republic and Belgium. The third chapter focus on the differences in Czech and Belgian culture. These differences are at first examined on the basis of Hofstede's cultural dimensions, then with regard to the linguistic diversity of the country and its impact on trade negotiations. The theory described in the second and the third chapter is confronted with the experience of surveyed companies operating in this area.
The availability of mobile internet access in the Czech Republic

This work is focused on the internet access availability via mobile connection. Technologies being used or available on the Czech market are discussed. The current products offered on the mobile internet connection market for end users are featured. Products being suitable to representatives chosen with regards to the opinion poll are recommended. Conditions on the Czech market are compared with the market of a representative chosen among the advanced members of the EU. Eventually, possible developing trends and further recommendations are discussed.
